The service was extremely slow. I was only able to get two drinks and the second one came after I was done eating my dinner. Potatoes brava were super salty. Not happy.
So we booked a table at 7pm but when we arrived hostess said that no available tables and we have to wait... so we finally sat down to our table at 7:15 It was really loud in there, hard to speak with each other and no music :( the food was no salty, no pepper, and with a lot of butter, that's it. Very poor service, the food wasn't tasty. I don't get why that place is so high rated. Not worth it. I'm disappointed, cause it was my bday and I didn't plan to spend my time like that.
Great place. Friendly staff. Friendly customers. Great place for a nice French meal. Enjoyed soup, steak and dessert
Food and service were excellent as usual. Decided to downgrade slightly on one category because we found it hard to talk after a couple sat down next to us and talked energetically with staff from the restaurant. Obviously, they were regular customers whom the staff knew well. While I understand that people were happy to see each other, it was still a bit challenging to hear each other at our table.
Great food. The mussels excellent , very plumb great broth for dipping. My wife loved the pork chop, moist tender great flavor. Dessert bread pudding my favorite
The service was impeccable and food delicious. We know we will have a wonderful experience and meal every time we go.
Always a wonderful experience at Bleu!! The food, the staff, and the vibe always deliver. We always look forward to dinner here. My highest recommendation!
Excellent service. We went for their happy hour. The oyster mushroom ravioli was excellent, as well as their muscles. I had the escargot, I found it too salty. The duck pate and mousse. The mousse was a bit too runny for my liking.
Our server was subpar. when we sat down, we told her we were going to have a cocktail and enjoy that for a moment. right after the cocktails came, she came right back over and asked if we were ready to order. Which was strange after telling her we'd like a minute. It seemed like she was not listening. it was just off. She wasn't clearing dishes until we asked. Im guessing this experience is unusual. we loved the food and ambiance. we will definitely come back.
Amazing ambience....took my mom there for the first time. She ordered the salad maison with the faraoe salmon! It melted in her mouth. I had the beet salad with petite filet and it was just right! Great service. They were able to accommodate for an inside seat on a Friday for my elderly mom. My husband had the steak frittes and he walked away happy and well fed, but not overstuffed. We love coming here in October when the season changes.

Had a reservation for a birthday celebration. We arrived early and were seated at a table in corner outside. No one came to our table for approximately 15 minutes. Table was not set. Following water being delivered to table and the busser returning to our table approximately 15 mins later, we informed him our server had not yet arrived. When our server arrived, no apology and acted like everything was just fine. This is not ok. Customer service lacking. Food was amazing. Sitting outside was very loud. Very busy street, so if you want a more intimate experience, we would recommend you sit inside.
Have been to the restaurant many times over the years. In the past, food has always been fantastic. On this occasion, the mushroom ravioli was terrible. Watery sauce with translucent dough. The favor of the sauce was sour. I could not eat it. The salmon was delicious but the sauce had a similar taste as the one in the ravioli. The spices were overpowering. The service was fine and the ambience was great. Seems like the quality of the food has gone down. Very disappointing. Seems like something fundamentally has changed.
The salmon and swordfish meals were excellent. As usual, a great evening on the patio looking out on Adams Ave.
This was a fantastic experience for my family. My son chose the steak and fries option, and the quality and portion size would've been plenty for an adult. I ordered rhe chicken, which was unbelievably good. Great flavor, perfectly done. A little loud, but it was a Friday evening so to be expected. Fantastic size pours and large selection on wine. I would highly recommend to all.
Quaint little French restaurant right in the middle of San Diego. The French onion soup was fantastic! I tried the orange duck, but was not a big fan. To me the flavors didn't seem to mesh well a little too salty with the addition of olives. Other members of my party had the beef and it looked very tasty!
