Awful service. Ordered an Americano and waited ten minutes while people after me got their order. I asked if mine is coming, yes they tell me, even though it made no sense why others were getting theirs before me. I see a coffee sitting on counter, I ask again, and turns out that’s my coffee. Short haired lady claims she called my name several times. When I am standing right there and waiting! I told her she did not call my name, and she smugly shrugged her shoulders. If I was the owner I’d fire this staff. I just moved here, never coming back.

Parking is a little bit of a walk away and you might end up getting wet from the maintenance workers washing dirt off the parking garage covers.

Blue Bottle Coffee offers outdoor seating that optimizes the great Del Mar weather. This unexpected treat created a delightful moment for me to complete some necessary reading and sip a pour over coffee. There were many people enjoying coffee. Some were working on laptops. Others relished conversations. The koi pond adds an element peace. While on the other side, there was a play ground for young children. Next time you desire a peaceful moment, you may want to consider Blue Bottle Coffee on Del Mar.

Got the seasonal iced latte which tasted like straight oat milk. No customers inside, yet we wait ( patiently) for 15 minutes - not a care in the world, for me or them. Drink was mediocre at best. Barista ? Basically poured ingredients in a metal tumbler and poured into my cup without a single shake or stir

The coffee is definitely good and I heard many times that they have more consistency in the same taste than others. Medium to full body structure as well. But beyond that I don’t understand this place. It got minimalist looks, staff can be cold atleast I observed, no vibe to the place, missing charm in ways a typical coffee place is supposed to have. Can this be my Saturday or Sunday morning place to go? Maybe not but definitely when I need something good and urgent.. ignoring everything else.

I got this decaf oatmeal lavender Yuzu cappuccino. It was seriously amazing! It came with a heart formed on top and I thought that was so sweet. I just really needed to pick me up this day and this place served that up with lots and lots of smiles!🥰❤️🥰 this was my first time here because usually when there’s a line I just won’t wait. They’re always seems to be a line here. I can understand why. It’s not like the ambience is super fantastic because it’s pretty much just OK. It’s definitely clean and it’s fine. It’s nothing‘s spectacular or super memorable, but the coffee speaks for itself, loudly! They have chicory coffee and I’m from New Orleans so that was pretty cool. If you like a stronger flavor coffee, then you’ll probably like the chicory coffee. They have non-chicory flavored coffees too and I just left this place. I was curious about the name, but I didn’t ask. I definitely would go there if you’re at UTC mall and get yourselfsomething refreshing or a little coffee pick me up. The staff was super sweet and made everything sort of better in my day. I really appreciated the staff, and I really appreciated their friendliness and smiles and warmth and hospitality. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
