“Japanese restaurant with amazing quality of fish”
ㅇ (Taste) Both sashimi and sushi are aged amazingly. The taste of fish at a high-quality Japanese restaurant.
- Truffle-topped sushi may be a bit complicated, but the taste of fish is the best.
- If you order the $34 chef's set, you get 6 pieces of rolls, 4 pieces of sashimi, and 6 pieces of sushi. Good value for money
ㅇ (Service) Friendliness. The server continuously checks the meal status. And the food came out super fast.
ㅇ (Atmosphere) Cleanliness inside and outside the store. The spacing is wide so you can relax. There are lots of seats, but it's not noisy at all.

I decided to try this place since it’s likely the newest Japanese restaurant in town, and I had fairly high expectations. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was welcoming, but the service was slower than I expected. For appetizers, I ordered the traditional kappa maki and agedashi tofu, and for the main course, the beef hot stone. However, what I received was a GIANT cucumber roll that looked more like a sushi burrito than actual kappa maki (one piece was even bigger than my mouth). The agedashi tofu (4 pieces) didn’t justify the $10 price tag—there are definitely better options for this dish elsewhere. Just the appetizers alone filled me up (which is great if you’re looking for quantity, but not if you’re after taste or authenticity). As for the beef hot stone, it felt like an overpriced, fancier version of Korean BBQ. I’d rather go to an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot for a better experience.”

I had the pleasure of dining at Blue Ocean Sushi & Grillrecently, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening. Every bite was bursting with flavor and thoughtfully plated.
What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations. It’s rare to find such a seamless combination of top-tier food and exceptional service. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a sophisticated dining experience.

If you’re looking for something more authentic, would not recommend. Sashimi and small plates are ok, but as an Asian, not the standard for sure.

Kind host but the "Heart Attack" tempura roll I had was just not good. I couldn't taste the shrimp in light of the chewy overdone tuna (which I didn't expect to be cooked) and the cream cheese.
The fact it was lathered in spicy mayo (again, overpowering) and topped with microgreens is always a sign of poor quality and no confidence.
For $15, you get 8 haphazardly constructed "rolls" as described and no wasabi.

If you get higher end Sashimi then it comes in this snow plate with a blue light.
This place is tasty. It looked empty from the angle we approached but was busy and comfortable on a Friday night. The service is great and the prices reasonable.
We will be back!

DELICIOUS but a bit pricey
Uh, we've had better. :/
Service was good tho.
Amazing experience with excellent and prompt service. We were checked on about 2-3 times from our server to make sure everything up to satisfaction. The food was ordered and brought out in less than 10 minutes and the taste was absolutely amazing. Will be coming back again soon!

They have a pretty good happy hour nigiri option that comes with 7 nigiri pieces and a miso soup. The fishes I had were somewhat fresh. Once we tried their regular lunch menu and their prices were pretty good compared to the portion of each dish. In general it is a nice sushi place compared to other sushi places nearby.
Our third time here, we tried Ishiyaki hot stone steak! It was a great experience, good meat and sauces with a relatively good price!
Wheelchair accessibility: It is not too far from the parking garage.
