Great sandwich shop. Good delicious fresh bread. Deli meat that is fresh and healthy portions. Veggies and sauces just complete the sandwich and go well with a bag of chips or a salad. Salads are large portions and healthy options. Very refreshing to have a good salad with many choices for toppings and proteins.Vegetarian options: Subs, salads, modify options and entrees to accommodate your tastes and preferences.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options and verity to choose from. Can customize any and all the available foodsParking: Busy street to find parking and if you do it’s metered. Better to dropSomeone off to grab the food and circle back around to pick them up

Put my order in at 3:33 (3/13/23) and called in immediately after to ask for my sandwiches to be toasted. The person picked up with attitude and told me one sandwich was already ready and they could only toast one of them. I’m not sure what kinda sandwich a person makes in less than a minute or if they were just keeping a soggy sandwich someone didn’t want on standby to send out but I definitely questioned that. The person ignored my question and said actually they can have both of them toasted. To my surprise, I got two untoasted soggy sandwiches. Very unsatisfied and honestly offended at the person for lying to me and hanging up on my face when I tried to be as nice as possible and just had a simple inquiry.

Board and Brew is one of my favorite sandwich chains here in San Diego. Their sandwiches are healthy, filling, fresh, and simple! If you're in PB and looking for a bite before heading to the beach then I highly recommend coming here. You can also grab it to-go and watch the waves while enjoying a delicious sandwich. Can't imagine a better vibe than that! The service is also super friendly here as well. My go-to is the Turkado sandwich and their special sauce is to die for.

Quick, easy place to get a nice sandwich. My husband and I split the Italian sub and it was more than enough for both of us. It would have been too much for either of us. Enjoyed are lunch very much.

This location is board without the brew. No beer served here. Sandwiches were good. Service was good. Inside seating area is kinda small.

Always good! Can't go wrong with a Veggie supreme. I like to order it with no sprouts then add pickles and banana peppers!

Placed an order online and arrived at the time it said it would be ready. When I got there, they said their system was down and wasn't printing tickets. They asked me what my order was and made all four sandwiches after I arrived. I had asked for one of the 4 turkey clubs without bacon and tomato, but got home to find out all 4 sandwiches were made without bacon and tomato. The place is too crowded and hot and the order was late and wrong. The Westlake Village location has a shelf that they put to-go orders on making it easy and convenient to place an online order. This location needs some improvements to the way it's run.

Awesome sandwiches with a ton of meat. Great salads. Super friendly staff. Felt very welcome and well taken care of. Chill socal vibes.

For some reason, there is no brew at this Board and Brew. Sandwiches were also slightly substandard to the one near our home.

Sign says "Specialty Sandwiches" but they offer basic luncheon meat like turkey loaf or roast beef on white hoagie rolls. Counter service yet the credit card reader asks for a tip. Whatever. Food seemed fresh but nothing special to report.

Great sandwiches, sauce is off the charts, but can't say you can expect anything from the service beyond ordering and making sandwiches. I got drink after a long day at the beach, hoping for a refreshing soda. After trying the root beer and clear liquid was coming out I politely let the staff know their root beer was out of syrup and got a sarcastic look and "oh no" from the cashier. I joked back saying "hey man it happens" shrugged and proceeded to fill up my cup with different choice. The sprite was also flavorless, I didn't want to bug the staff again so I patiently waited for him to refill the root beer. Instead I watched the cashier restock the chips (that weren't empty) at a sloth like pace. This went on for the entirety of my stay there eating my sandwich. Pretty annoyed that I paid $3 for a drink and couldn't enjoy any soda that I liked. Not sure if the man with half up half down hair-do just woke on the wrong side of the bed or didn't know how to refill the soda syrups but dude needs some more training. Will probably be coming back for the sandwiches but I recommend testing the drinks out before ordering or prepare for disappointment.

Pretty good if very basic sandwich joint. Don't expect too many frills...or extensive flavors. Do expect, a very quick sandwich order. Very nice employees and an amazing location about 1/2 block from the beach. Don't spend any time in the store, grab your order to go and walk to the beach. Trust me. Why wouldnt you? The Italian sub is where it at. Go for it.

Awesome sandwiches! We got the bafa beef and the spicy roast beef which both came on soft French baguettes that were just delicious. Super similar to an east coast hoagie. My only critique would be that the jalapeños were cut a little to thick and it would have been more delicious to have them thinner and scattered throughout the sandwhich more. But this place is ultimate - highly recommend if you’re craving a good sandwhich in pb.
