I been going to Bolsa for over 40 years. I follow them to Normal Heights Mable Street and still with them. No one makes Vietnamese food like them. I just read someone’s review, I give them 1 million star. The quality of food is A+++++. The family are awesome. Service is awesome and price of food as well. I wish I can eat there every day.

They should get a 100 stars! I been going there for over 20 years. Best Pho Soup. Chicken Stir fry with white rice. Best Vietnamese food ever.

The pho ga chicken pho was too bland. The chicken breast came without the skin and I saw a photo of another review looked different than what I got. There wasn't that aromatic scent like other pho restaurants either. It tasted more like instant pho than homemade but the customer service was good. And it turned me off that they gave us barely any basil and jalapeños for our soups.

This is the first time I have been here. But the service was quick. The staff were kind and the food is GREAT! We had the beef noodle bowl soup and one of my sons has the char sui egg noodle soup. I highly recommend this!

The Pho was perfect and the spring rolls were so crisp and delicious! Everything tasted absolutely fresh. The owners were amazing people, very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good, full of flavor fresh food.

First of all, the service was terrible. There was barely anyone dining and we still had to seat ourselves and wait at the table for 10 minutes before the waiter came over, tossed us a couple menus and left without a word. While dining we saw that they took dirty water cups, swished them quickly with water, refilled them and served that water to the next table. Keep in mind that COVID is still going around as I write this. It’s not only disgusting but dangerous. We ordered Bun Bo Hue and Banh Cuon. The Bun Bo Hue broth was basically water with spice, extremely bland. The Banh Cuon was alright, nothing to come back for.Bad service, bad food, appalling food safety. Never coming back again.

Excellent food, restaurant was super busy but I ordered to go. Friendly staff and moderately priced compared to other Pho restaurants near by. The best part is that they had Vietnamese Crepes aka Bahn Xeo. So delicious it's a must order...

I hate to do this, but terrible experience here we come. My gfs flight got delayed so I decided to get a small bite. Eggrolls or something. I always wanted to try this place since I'm getting a sandwich at cali baguette. I walk in and it takes a minute for me to get seated. I don't mind that too much. They sat me and forgot about me! I waited 8 minutes without water or even them checking in on me. I had to flag someone down. After that, they took my order. I got the egg noodles stir fry bc I saw other tables ordering it. I ordered the eggrolls since I initially came to get that small bite. I also got wine bc you know, I was meh about the place already. Still, it's not why I gave it 2 stars. My stir fry, the beef tasted spoiled, old, rough. I was so disappointed. I only ate the veggies in the dish. I was so sad! Now for the eggrolls... it's eggroll with rice paper. Usually I love those, but this was so soft and pasty. Just didn't taste right. The nuc mam is bland too :( . Today I really appreciated my own cooking. Even if I am a retired chef, I still hold vietnamese food to the highest standard! For me vietnamese food is the best! After eating here I valued my nuc mam and vietnamese cooking! I want to give this place another shot and try the pho. I will update my review then, if it changes! Here are pics of how I got it and left with it, since I didn't touch it.

Great food great service great prices. We’re ordered some spring rolls that were amazing. Staff was super flexible bringing us extra fish sauce with the peanut sauce. Seems like they really enjoy making great food and taking care of their patrons

ordered the bun rieu, the flavor was good but they skimp on the meat a lot. Thought was going to meatball size of the meatball but just got flakes of it...

We went here because the pho restaurant across the street was packed. There was no wait when we got here and the food was pretty good. My only complaint is for when I ordered my food. I'm pretty fluent in Vietnamese so I ordered vermicelli with egg rolls and bbq pork in vietnamese. I asked if they can just put the vegetables on the side since I normally don't eat all of the vegetables. But for some reason the lady didn't understand what I was asking, and when I repeated myself, she said "oh no vegetables" and I said, "I still want vegetables but on the side, not in the bowl" and then she said that's really hard for them to do because the vegetables are normally mixed in with the vermicelli and meat already. Which is completely odd to be honest with you. I've always ordered vegetables on the side and no restaurant has ever said to me that they can't do that. I really didn't want to argue with her so I said anything works. Then she said ok ok, vegetables on the side. But after that interaction, she was honestly kind of rude to me up until the moment I paid where she slammed my card on the counter. I don't know what I did wrong to make her upset, but I don't think I'll be coming here again.
