Writing this review on my boyfriend's phone, but as a Korean American, Bopjo is the best, fast Korean food I could ask for. The traditional options are so rich and nostalgic in flavor, while the fusion items give everyone something they're craving no matter their cultural background. Every time I've come here, the owner has given me exceptional customer service and made sure I left happy. He clearly cares about his customers, and it speaks volumes. Can't recommend Bopjo enough!

Had the Korean Cali Burrito. The quality of the steak was top tier, the taste was fantastic and the burrito had all the textures on point! The spicy mayo and salsa green verde are a must have with the burrito! Highly recommend, keep up the great job. God bless

I tried the Spam musubi, but the rice was too mushy — almost like porridge. The kimchi fried rice tasted like it had too much kimchi juice added. Not recommended. For the rice bowl, I think they should provide a spork. The portion of meat felt a bit lacking, though the amount of sauce was perfect.

I got the bulgogi rice bowl and the dumplings. The dumplings were really good! The rice bowl was primarily rice, which I get it, it's the name of the bowl, but still wanted more of the other items added not just rice.

Beef bowl was super good and reasonably priced. Not super authentic but great overall. The service was also excellent and super quick.

I can imagine it's a great place to go..... If you don't go 30 minutes before closing. Half the stalls were closing or in the process of it at 7:35. Word to the wise, go well before closing time.

We drive to LS only and only for Bopjo. I love their bulgogi beef with additional glass noodle. There is part of me that wants to keep this place a secret bcs as it stands now you gotta wait a good 15 mins for food to get ready, which i don't mind .. it is a family business and the couple people do all the work themselves.
To understand what happiness means to me you have to go to a Korean Mexican restaurant called BopJo. I've mortgaged my house twice to fund my BopJo addiction, and my dad keeps sending me Dave Ramsey books in the mail. Do I care? Not really. Eating BopJo is like the first week of a Situationship before you realize that they are truly a terrible human being.
There are two dates in American history that I will remember. September 11, 2001 and the date that I discovered BopJo.
Eating here is like finding a guy who still uses a flip phone and doesn’t have a really weird relationship with his mom. Eating here is like finding a girl they can frequently and articulately communicate her feelings. Eating here is like being touched by God.
I used to need three White Claws just to call my therapist, but now I sob freely into my beef Bulgogi quesadillas while the other customers pretend not to notice. The broth has replaced my antidepressants (note: my therapist strongly disagrees with this decision).
Do I regret spending my nephew's birthday money here? Yes. Will I do it again? Also yes. Because some things in life are worth more than money or the respect of your family members. BopJo is one of them.
Of the countless food options that exist inside Liberty Station, BOPJO caught my eye because it seemed to be the one thing that stood out from the rest of the food in the building. A unique take on Korean and Mexican food, I was happy to have been able to give it a try. Also, it was one of the more reasonably priced restaurants in the building.
I ordered a popcorn chicken bowl with a spice level of 3 out of 5 and a loaded kimbap musubi. I enjoyed the bowl a lot more, though it wasn’t exceptional, I was a fan of the large portion they gave me. The musubi was sort of falling apart before I even began to eat it, and to be honest, it looked a lot bigger in the photos they had of it on the menu.
One thing that I really loved was the salsa verde I had that came with my bowl. It was the spiciest sauce they had out of all their sauces and it was amazing. It was at that level of very spicy but I could still enjoy my food at the same time. It really helped give the bowl and extra kick.
Great soy chorizo taco. Tofu taco is okay. Get the spicy aioli
The food is delicious, fair prices and very good service.
