From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and during the entire evening they made our celebration feel so special. They shared multiple handwritten cards and took a Polaroid to capture our special evening and truly added to an already special night. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends.

Decided to spend my birthday dinner at Born and Raised and it was spectacular! I was presented a hand written birthday card when we sat down and many of the staff wished me a happy birthday - it made me feel very special. The food was outstanding and every dish was tasty and memorable. Service was a bit slow but nothing that tarnished the experience but were still accomodating at every request and polite. Highly recommend!

I am beyond impressed by the great customer service. I booked on OpenTable and requested a great seating area for my husbands birthday and they responded back so fast and made it happen! We got the steak sampler and that was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back again!!

Caesar salad prepared at the table was absolutely delicious. Japanese A5 Wagyu beef was perfectly cooked and out of this world. No San Diego restaurant prepares this top-quality beef q as well as Born and Raised. Server Anderson was gracious and efficient, made a great recommendation for wine to accompany the Wagyu. Food was delicious and served quickly. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess and quickly sat. Unfortunately, we were sat in a half booth pretty close to another couple. Normally I don't mind this but we informed them we were celebrating an anniversary and the several booths around us were never occupied during our 10pm reservation on a Sunday. Lastly, our waitress completely deserted us after paying the bill and we had to flag down another waiter to pack our dessert after waiting a considerable amount of time. Good food, nice ambiance, not the best service.

Food was awful, The Wagyu steak was terrible. The sides were gross we had the mushrooms all they were large mushrooms cut in half drowning in garlic, and the dirty hash browns that I was looking forward too were burnt and over cooked so they smothered them in crème rather make new ones. Our filet mignon was tough like a bad New York strip. I Would never recommend this place for anything other. Than the ambiance and and have a drink.
