Delicious! Everything was exceptional from the hummus to the kebabs. Service was friendly and the chef came out to introduce the dish he made. Would love to go back soon!
We ordered the chips, the calamari, the yogurt/ mint with bread, beet salad, two beef kebab, and one vegetarian kebab +5 cocktails. The server was incredible. Outstanding service. We loved the Turkish tea at the end of the meal and the ambience. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. We were there for a special occasion. The meal cost $300 for four people. I'm glad we tried it. I don't think we will be back. I wish them all the best of luck.
Highly recommend Bosforo. The food is unique and delicious. We have been there two times in two weeks and tried something new each visit and it didn't disappoint. Their cocktail menu is extensive and creative. The staff was so friendly and attentive!
Our server, Sicily, was outstanding and made us feel like we're welcomed and taken cared of. Except for the Chef's salad, everything was delicious! Highly recommended. We will be back! Get there early as parking is only on-street and can be a challenge.
this is our second time having dinner at bosforo. they make piece of art. absolutely the best Turkish and mediterranean cuisine in town. kebab was stunning! lahmacun was crispy and very delicious. they cook pizza and lahmacun in wood fired oven. we got baklava as a dessert and that was absolutely the original way made. also, you can find good cocktails here. this restaurant must be in michelin guide!!
Everything was perfect. Food was delicious. We plan to bring our family from out of town here.
The food was AMAZING but the dollar amount for kepbabs is a bit high! One chicken kepbab for $24 seems high?
Lambchops were quite overcooked which was disappointing, not to mention on the small side. The smoked yogurt was delicious though! Pita was plush and hot. The Turkish liquor just made every single drink have the same anise aftertaste which was boring. Service was great.
Loved everything about this place! As a Turkish man, who lived in San Diego for two decades, prayed for a moment like this. A Turkish restaurant that makes it feel like home. Chef Sage, thank you for such an amazing experience, coming to our table to say hi, and sharing some secrets about your own recipes. Can't wait to be there again!
Food was so flavorful and fresh! Service was incredible, never had to ask for anything and the staff were so friendly and personable. Highly recommend!

One of the best evenings out in San Diego: superb food, great atmosphere, friendly and quick service even during rush hour on a Saturday night. Chef Ibrahim stopped by several times to check on us and get feedback. The cocktails were another highlight, don't miss out on ordering some - my husband raved about his whisky sour, and the Toros is delicious with unusual flavors. Go native and don't hesitate to order raki to go with your food, just ask for a tall glass and dilute it in plenty of water. The icli kofte, recommended by the hostess, was a great texture with its chewy dough. We loved the branzino - with the silkiest cauliflower puree and crunchy fennel, the Bósforo kebab and the kofte. Oh, and definitely order the rice pudding and the baklava - We'll be back soon even though we live an hour away!
I loved the restaurant in this location, its a up and coming area and parking was very hard to find. We went on a date and loved the food so much, and all of the dips and hummus was amazing!! !
The food was priced fairly. The service was good. Unfortunately, the food did not measure up to our expectations. I was very surprised at how bland many of the dishes were.
Fantastic place! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, the food is absolutely incredible, and the service is flawless from start to finish. Big shoutout to bartender Cem, his cocktails were next-level and really made the night. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great dining experience!
Authentic and divine Turkish cuisine in a lovely hip neighborhood gem with excellent service. The Mezzes take me back to Istanbul. Some of the best eats in San Diego County!
