Got 2 bowls, 1 beef bulgogi and 1 teriyaki beef. Both bowls were filled with white rice to the top with a side of beef. Bulgogi was almost like ground beef with not too much flavor, where the teriyaki beef was super flavorful, but very hard and chewy. It's more of a to go style place, but they do have a few tables to dine in. Customer service was good. Expect to go in and see multiple bags on the counter for to go orders.

I work at the jiffy lube across the way and this is the best dang lunch I've had all year. Really really good comfort food, at a good price, five stars for sure! It wasn't too crowded, even faster than a drive thru when I went. I'm not some teriyaki connoisseur but I know delicious when I taste it!

This place is the best To go bowl in San Diego, the quality of the meat it's amazing, it's moist, tender and with a lot of flavor. The last time I went was 4 years ago and still my favorite place to get bbq chicken

I used to spend about a $100 a week at this place when they first open. 7-10 yrs ago. Food and service is excellent as always. No complaints and continently location and the place is inviting. However the portion sizes lately are concerning. $18.95 for a rib plate and it's mostly bone and gristle. Like..what's up with that? Twice this has been the case. If it's a 3rd then I'll never go there again. Greed isn't a good look. Check my photos and see for yourself. Please do better than this.

"Bowls To Go" is located in the Miracrest Plaza right behind Carls Jr. It is a little hard to find if you don't know it is there. The restaurant it's self is very small, but does off a little bit of seating. The menu is simple. Beef, Chicken or Pork rice bowls. The portion sizes are good for the price and the food is tasty. I work in the area, so I have come here often and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Lunch hour is busy and parking in this shopping center is small and tight. Overall, worth checking out for a quick lunch if you are in the area.

Came here during the day to try out their teriyaki chicken. It turns out to be a bit underwhelming. The chicken was good, but the teriyaki sauce is lacking. Just an underwhelming meal from the reviews I read about this place.

This place is pretty good. Overall filling but I think the flavor is quite underwhelming. The veggies were fresh. I got the beef and chicken combo bowl. I work nearby and the smell has been driving me crazy for months so I finally decided to get it. Compared to the smell, the flavor is not as good. Maybe next time
