They need to open the walkway there's an awning so people can get shelter from the rain and the cold while waiting for the bus! Maybe these people will buy hot chocolate, coffee and a pastry to stay warm while outside in the elements.

Delicious cold brew - reminded me of very dark chocolate.

I was very excited to try this bakery after seeing so many rave media reviews—but I was wrong. The lemon meringue pie smelled strongly of eggs and was honestly unpleasant. We bought two, only managed to eat half of one, and threw the rest away. The fruit tart was also disappointing: the filling didn’t taste fresh, and the fruit quality was poor. The cream puff was just okay, but we ended up with stomach aches afterward. We tried a few other pastries as well, and unfortunately they were all bad. Maybe this place is better known for its breads and sandwiches, but I don’t understand why it has such a high rating. Expensive, low quality, and not tasty at all.

I love their bread. However, was sooo disappointed. I should have returned the baguette tuna sandwich. The baguette was clearly old. There is no way anyone could bite into it as a sandwich. The tuna was bone dry. The walnuts not chopped. It was a inedible. My husband liked the roast beef sandwich minus the dry bread that also tasted old. I had to go up and ask for a fork twice because they do not provide utensils. Very disappointed.

Love the owner!! So hoping he notices that the in-restaurant meals seem to use old bread.

I love this place. Food is great. I love the breads and pastries. Everything is very good & fresh. I always end up taking something home. It can be noisy at peak times, but it's nothing distracting.

Came here for a quick breakfast with little to no expectations. I was blown away! The food was so good. I got the Mediterranean frittata panini, two different types of vegetarian quiche, and a blueberry pie latte. Everything was amazing. I was really impressed by the service as well. The line to order was so long but moved so fast and the food arrived at a reasonable time. They must have their service down to a science. It’s definitely a local gem.

Why put salty (not feta) cheese between the eggy layer and bottom crust in a spinach & feta quiche? I enjoy their pastries, their service, and the bread samples. Unfortunately with no parking and the line it feels cramped and not worth it in the morning.

I really don't have anything negative to say about this place... oh wait, I do have one small thing – it's a bit too far from me! 😁😁😁 But whenever I'm in the Hillcrest area, I always make it a point to stop by. Their bread 🥪🍞🥪🍞 is just always so fresh and delicious!
