I give 5 stars to all restaurants making me feel comfortable paying what I got. And, this is a brunch that I’d like to come back again. Their Oreo pancake is way beyond expectations, and kids love their shrimp omelete. Jambalaya was flavorful too. The only meals that I was not happy about was their coffee and avocado toast. The toast was good, but the portion was not the same as other dishes. It does not feed empty stomach.

The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the beautiful décor and the effortlessly good vibes. The space feels inviting, stylish, and full of life.
A huge shout-out to Susana, who warmly greeted me, sat me at my table, and helped me craft my own special meal. I ordered the chilaquiles and swapped out the beans and rice for the French toast banana split. Let me tell you… it was perfectly delicious. Truly the best of both worlds, savory and sweet done right. And the cafe de olla was nicely prepared.
Another special shout-out to the chefs and the bilingual staff. As someone who loves observing energy and dynamics, I couldn’t help but notice how well they all worked together. Their rapport is great and you can feel that positive team energy throughout the restaurant. It made the entire dining experience even better.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A Golden Experience at Breakfast Republic in San Diego
Once you find a parking spot, which is the hardest part, everything else at is pure gold. It’s all comfort, flavor, and fantastic service. Highly recommend! 🌟and there are many other stores and restaurants near by so a great place to enjoy the day.

Breakfast Republic – Liberty Station
📍 2865 Sims Rd, Suite 106, San Diego, CA 92106
We visited after attending the 10 a.m. service at The Rock Church and decided to stop by for brunch. There was about a 45-minute to one-hour wait, so we headed back to our hotel, changed out of our church clothes into beachwear, and returned just in time for our table.
When we arrived, the hostess, Bella, didn’t realize we had our puppy, Kairo, with us and initially seated us inside. Once I mentioned it, she was so kind and apologetic, explaining that patio seating was required for pets. I asked to speak with the manager, Enid, who was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond—seated us almost immediately, made sure we were comfortable on the patio, and even brought Kairo treats to help calm him since he’s still getting used to being around people and the busy Liberty Station atmosphere.
Our server, Susanna, was equally fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and had our food and drinks out quickly. I’m a bit of a brunch enthusiast and a longtime fan of Breakfast Republic, and they never disappoint! My shrimp & grits were delicious, the pancake was fluffy and golden, and my mango mimosa with a Tajín rim was the perfect brunch cocktail. My son enjoyed the Breakfast on a Bun, and everything came out fresh and flavorful.
The vibe here is that trendy industrial-style space with a lively patio, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. What really made this visit stand out, though, was the people—Bella’s sweet demeanor, Susanna’s great service, and especially Enid’s genuine care for both us and our pup. She even checked back later to ensure Kairo was calm when other dogs arrived.
All around, it was a five-star experience. Delicious food, great service, and heartfelt hospitality that made us feel truly welcomed. Thank you, Enid, Bella, and Susanna—you’re the reason we’ll keep coming back!

The food and service were fantastic! Love the coffee mug they use, quite appropriate for a caffeine addict. The ONLY drawback is that SD International Airport flies directly overhead every 5 minutes.

Flew into town to see family and they brought me here. Sean was an awesome server despite being absolutely slammed in the building today.
Our food was delicious, inventive, and the portions sizes were large, especially in a world where the pricing has made a lot of places no longer worth the funds.
Loved my bottomless strawberry lemonade and pancakes. The Brussels breakfast potatoes were delicious and unique but I felt that my potatoes and Brussels could have used a few more minutes crisping.
My dining partner had the Bloody Maria and one of the Benedicts. Some of the best hollandaise I've ever tasted.
PS - order an extra side of bacon. Whatever they do to it here, chef's 💋!

Been here once. My wife and I arrived an hour and 15 minutes before closing and the hostess turned us away saying they don’t seat an hour before closing. We were completely shocked and left without arguing with the person. Other locations have treated people better than this one. Food is also very average.
