They took their own tip after I paid
The Chicken and Waffles are ALWAYS the best choice! Best chicken and waffles I have EVER had! Can't wait to visit again!
After a fantastic night of partying until my feet hurt, go to Brains to get some Southern Cali comfort food before crashing out!!!
Souffle pancakes! Worth that wait!
Breakfast for two was was $62:00. I’m not from the area, and went at my 14 year old glam daughters request. 2 pancakes $14 , Bacon $6 and 2 eggs $6 , chicken and waffles and 1 strawberry lemonade I didn’t not $9 . My chicken and waffles unlike anything I could’ve imagined. Fried chicken covered in a sauce, the waffle was ok. I ordered it so I didn’t not send it back. I think I was more disappointed that the $9 strawberry lemonade was watered down and served in a plastic cup. I do not mind paying for good food. There was nothing special about this place. The service was ok, the food was just ok. I was very disappointed
I had the Tri Tip Sheppards Pie. It was my first time ordering a Sheppard Pie but I didn't expect a potato. It was good though! I tried the Eye of Tiger cocktail $17, kinda disappointed that it came in plastic cups. I'd go back to try more of their food menu.
They closed early, 2 hours early. Quite annoying really.
Food was great service was great drinks too only major complaint the bathrooms. The bathrooms were so disgusting one had vomit all on the back and looked like it had been cleaned in awhile. The next bathroom I tired was still not clean with hair in the sink and more unknown particles. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
First time in San Diego, followed the reviews and we were very disappointed. Definitely not worth the money. Drinks were overpriced half cups of ice with no flavor. Waited 45 min for overcooked food. Don’t know if guy waiting on tables was the owner but he acted like he could care less. Cool aesthetic but unfortunately food and staff was huge let down.
We walked to find this place and it was being gutted and renovated so pretty sure it doesn’t exist any more. Unless anyone else able to advise otherwise

This not the Brian's 24 it used to be. Loved the food before it changed menu items and recipes. It's now also very pricey. Went in to try the pancake souffle but the waiter said that the machine that makes them was broken. Not only did I have a really tough time trying to find something to order, I ended up getting a basic breakfast sandwich, coffee and orange juice for $37with tip. Service was fine.
Delicious, awesome service, & cutest interior design. 4 stars only because it wasn't the cleanest.
Great downtown diner open 24/7. Excellent choices in both food and drink.
The food was great and the coworkers were so kind. Definitely a 11 out of 10, would recommend. I say it's a nice spot for a young coward base on the environment when I was there. There are other food I wanna try there too.
Kid-friendliness: The coworkers were kind and polite. I was seating in the bar, and was hild a great conversation with them.
Parking: I paid for parking at the parking garage. Looking for free parking might be difficult.
I had the chicken and waffle it was very good
