?? The name makes sense. I wanted to eat a brick after I tried their "Sandwich". The worst I ever had in my life. Seriously, THE WORST. Inedible. We got it soaked in water! It tasted like it smells, bad.
We had to throw it away in its entirety.
When the manager reads this, I want to be in contact for a refund!

Good no-frills coffee and pastry shop with very well priced breakfast foods (sandwiches, wraps, bagels, etc). There’s a decent amount of seating that only fills up on the weekends. Compared to the surrounding restaurants and price points, this place feels like a really good value. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, I would highly recommend it if you are staying or hanging out in the area.

Cool place. The fresh juice was unique and good. The bakery items were also very good. Nice to hang out and soak up the atmosphere.

Very cute spot to stop and get a coffee or snack. I needed a quick sandwich before I did a kayak tour. I got the turkey chipotle that was great!! The service was fast and food perfect for what I was looking for. There was also live music for a laid back relaxing vibe on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend!

Great spot for a yummy drink chai liked, but to me, It could use a stronger flavor of chai . Staff friendly and helpful. Parking was difficult park about a quarter mile away on a busy street. I found my drink worth the visit if your in the area.

Great spot and patio area. The matcha latte was good, the regular latte was not the best. Super caffeinated but tasted more like a milk drink than a coffee tasting latte. Wouldn’t get again/ recommend. Friendly staff and quick service on a Sunday morning.

Small and unique cafe with lots of good options for baked goods and sandwiches.
Went here daily for breakfast and definitely a much better option than the typical chain coffee shops down the road.

Hi, what a shame!. My review is based on past 3 visits to this place. This place used to be the best place for coffee, espresso drinks and also almond croissant years ago before pandemic, so good that I would make a drive from Del Mar to La Jolla to this place every time I got a chance to do so, but unfortunately they now make one of worst almond croissant and very unpleasant espresso drinks. Their espresso taste like a weak coffee with muddy flavor. I honestly through it away in a trash can after drinking 1/3 of it. Very disappointing.

Great location, good service, great coffee and amazing açaí bowls! The açaí bowls are some of the best I’ve had. The beach is a few minutes walk away which is great for walk before or after.
