Quiet Saturday afternoon. Met friends for lunch and had a great visit. Food was good, enjoyed the drinks as well. Nice place to catch up.
Went to dinner before a Humphrey's concert. (Note: be sure to make reservations, especially on a Friday evening.) Patty was our server, she was pleasant, efficient and made sure we got our orders in to avoid unnecessary delays. She also knew the timing of when to get the wine from the bar based on the number of orders placed. She's a treasure! The food was good: the calimari strips can't be beat and the house salad was tasty. I had the sand dabs and husband had the macadamia crusted mahi mahi. We both enjoyed our meals. No dessert for us. This restaurant is wonderful!
Dinner here before a concert at Humphrey's. Second floor but not much of a view. Ample public parking adjacent. Seated immediately. Nice selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. Patricia was our server and was courteous and caring. Bread and butter served along with water. Wife had the lobster tacos. Deep fried generous pieces of lobster in a tartar sauce on two tortillas. I have the charred ahi served on rice with vegetables. Both were very good. Dessert was mud pie made with coffee ice cream on an Oreo crust with whipped cream and peanut bits. Hard to believe we ate the whole thing.
Always enjoy dining at Brigantine Shelter Island and La Mesa restaurants. Crab and Shrimp salad delicious. Service and staff pleasant.

I went here with my parents and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. I got the scallops and they were some of the biggest I've ever seen. I also ordered a Mai Tai and it was excellent. The restaurant is very well kept and cozy as well. Highly recommended if you're looking for seafood.

I've been enjoying The Brigantine since the first restaurant opened a thousand years ago. Well, more or less,. Last night's experience was one of the best ever. Waiter awesome, sand dabs awesome, and of course the ambiance is always awesome. THANK YOU. Enthusiastically recommend.

Okay, the reason the noise level was low is because we chose to sit outside on the patio. Inside is usually quite noisy, but on the patio it's always nice and quiet. The food was great we shared the filet and tempura lobster tacos. The cook on the steak was spot on. Service was great. This isn't the closest Brig to my home, but it's definitely my favorite Brig.

A welcoming staff, great drinks, happy atmosphere. My sister and I have been several times. It's our go-to when we attend concerts at Humphries. She loves the salmon. My experience not quite as good as hers. Swordfish on the dry side. Ahi came with a sort of gravy and vegetable mix that didn't make sense to me. Scallops excellent.
Love this place, the lobster tacos are the bomb and the Shrimp Louie salad is the best I've ever had!

We LOVE food at Brigantine. Del Mar and Downtown locations are so good! Shelter Island, don't go there!!! Just don't. Not sure who is cooking there but their food tastes nothing like other locations. It's disgusting! My husband and I thought we should warn people
