The food is always good here, we’ve had dine and take out and it’s never disappointed. I love the combination plate options - their rice and beans are actually really good and flavorful. The ingredients are always fresh too.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and it was all prepared extremely fast! Portions were amazing, and the price was more than fair. We ordered take out, but it looked like a cozy joint that I would have loved to eat at, as well. If I lived in the area, I daresay that Brother's would get a lot of my business.Would recommend!!

Stopped by for the first time for a quick bite. Carolina attended us and she was great and very friendly! We got the 5 mini tacos and a cocktail drink which was pretty good. Would try it again and order more food.

For a long time I've had two things I use to judge a Mexican restaurant: salsa and refried beans. I always figured if they did these two basics well, they were paying attention and I could move on to more complex menu items. Well, these guys did great. The salsa was excellent and the beans were good as well. While basic, my bean and cheese burrito was very satisfying. Service was good. While the cashier was really timid (new?) the rest of the staff was really helpful and nice. I enjoyed the place but it's fairly simple. Nothing fancy but it doesn't need to be. Maybe a little dark. I look forward to going back to try other items.

Super weird says it opens at 8 AM stopped by at 11:20 am on a Thurs for lunch place was completely empty and looked like a bar, I thought it was a Mexican restaurant,? but didn't see a menu and nobody to greet me just one guy behind the bar cleaning glasses didn't even say hello? Super bummed the reviews made it sound like it was good, waste of a lunch break.

I am a a chile relleno aficionado and these are right up there with the very best I've ever had. But if that's not your thing, I assure you will enjoy the chips, salsa, refried beans, and other dishes at great prices.

Food: The chips and salsa were really good! Loved the salsa!!!! Sadly, when we asked for more, the waitress/hostess had an attitude (she didn't replyn just walked away). She brought back a half-full container for the FOUR of us (see photo). Other than the good chips and salsa, everything else was "not-too-good" to "mediocre." We had the Chicken Chimichanga (the guacamole was very runny and had a weird taste, but the chicken was well‐cooked-just needed more flavor); the Breakfast Burrito (bland); and the Mini Chicken Taco (bland). The Mango Margarita tasted like pure, thick syrup without any liquor. I don't even like a strong drink, but this was very weak...even for someone like me. Still, I paid for the drink but left it on the table (full). Oh, the Horchata was pretty good, but it was VERY SWEET. Service: Not good. From the moment we walked into the small, EMPTY, quaint establishment, I felt unwelcome. The hostess literally just stared at us without saying a word. So, I asked, "Do we sit anywhere?" She nodded. I requested water multiple times, as my children were coughing terribly due to the spice of the salsa (which, again, I loved). We were the only patrons initially. My last time asking for water, I asked in Spanish. With an attitude, she said, "I understood before," as she proceeded to make our other drinks (Horchata and Margarita). I explained that my children really needed the water due to the spice of the salsa. She said, "I'll get it after I make the drinks." She brought out the drinks and later the food, but still, NO WATER. I also requested lids multiple times. Needless to say, I won't ever return...even if the food were amazing, I wouldn't come back!

I have lived in North Park since well before Brothers took over from other extended family members several years ago (it was called Salsa Fiesta at that point.)When Brothers first took over the food was amazing, although it was significantly different than when the prior owners had it (Salsa Fiesta.) The food continues to be great to this day.The issue is with consistency. As employees come and go, and the owners are on site less, you sometimes don't get what you got last week. Although the food is always good it's not always the same.I understand that since COVID the cost of doing business has escalated! And I'm willing to pay higher prices, if you maintain the quality of your food.Google won't let me pick more than one type of meal, but in the last 2 weeks I have had:BreakfastLunchDinnerLate Night (Friday and Saturday).Parking: It's North Park. Street parking is the main option, although there is a paid parking garage 2 blocks south that is reasonably priced.

Great service great atmosphere, however the beans taste watered down and if you ask and pay for extra cheese they absolutely do not give you extra. It's over priced for that reason alone.
