The bagels are mediocre at best, but the bigger issue is the customer service. I’ve had to call multiple times just to get someone to answer the phone, and on several occasions, I’ve seen staff pick up the phone and immediately hang up to stop it from ringing. It’s frustrating and shows a clear disregard for customers trying to reach the store.

Of the e handful of franchises that are bagel focused businesses I recommend Brueggers as being the most authentic and well run. The options, flavors and quality are excellent. I’m a bit of a bagel snob so this doesn’t come from me easily.
I ordered a bagel sandwich that was supposed to come with cream cheese, salmon, tomato, onions, and capers. There were no onions or capers to be seen on my sandwich. Missing 2 out 5 ingredients seems like a pretty big miss. Order from somewhere else if you want a complete sandwich.
We have been here many times and I have never left a review. It is what you would expect - a bagel shot in a strip mall with so-so service. The people who make your bagels are pretty good and doing that, they just don't have much personality and just want your order and move on. The store itself is pretty drab and utilitarian which is likely why most people get their orders to go or they sit outside at the tables outside and next to the store.
The service was very slow. We were buying two simple buttered bagels and we got stuck behind a large and complicated order. Only two people working. Finally the manager came out from the back and helped me after 20 minutes of waiting. The bathroom was very dirty which always makes me wonder what the hygiene of staff is like since it's likely a shared bathroom. Pass.

The best and only authentic bagels in San Diego. I usually order the bakers dozen and have them sliced for me. They also freeze well. Folks who complain about the texture are probably used to the typical hamburger bun with a whole served elsewhere. Hell I've been to Manhattan and while they can be authentic and similar to Bruegger's they are utually smaller and way more expensive. I love this place.

Ordered assiago bagel and cream cheese. $5.48
I'm standing I'm line alone, and a new customer walkes up, granted a cute girl, and she gets attended before me. I hadn't been greeted yet, and I got skipped. Another 30 seconds or so goes by, same gentleman that skipped me ignores me . Another person finally takes my order. I believe it was the assistant manager others have written about.
Bagel order was for toasted assiago. It's incredibly stale , and the cream cheese is so little !! For 5.48 bucks??
Big disappointment. 2nd time in the store. Last time I buy from here :(

Went in to eat a bagel, unfortunately the experience was not good. The containers in which the salads were placed were dirty, the place looked neglected and not clean.
I had to open the front door with a napkin.
We took a poppy seed bagel with egg and cheese.
Instead of it being toasted, heat it in the microwave and it came out sticky.
The egg was prepared in advance and not on the spot.
In short - a very disappointing place!!!!!

Absolutely delicious bagels! Super friendly staff. A gem of a bagel shop. Their whole wheat bagels are my go to for a healthy bagel.

Read the reviews before going. I wish I did. They’re all the same. This place sucks. I enter and I’m third in line. There’s two people work one assistant manager (saw her badge) and some guy who clearly didn’t care. There was a woman waiting for her bagel at the front. As I’m waiting the workers are talking yelling at someone in the back. There’s a beeping sound going off and no one cares. Finally my turn to order, right as another woman walks in jumps ahead of me and the assistant manager starts chatting with her taking her order and proceeds to make her bagel. The other guy finally checks the beeping sounds which was the toaster over for the lady at the front who has been waiting this whole time for her bagel. She finally got it after they served the two people who were in line before me. The assistant manager finally takes my order. I wait another 10 mins to finally get my order which sucked. The toaster over is more like a microwave so my bagel was rubbery. The Orange Juice is just gross. Terrible experience.
