Neighborhood guy. Last time I visited the pork belly let me down, after I had fell in love with it. Pork belly is all i get here to be honest. This time it was PERFECT. We all have bad days but this proved they are solid. Thanks.
Really enjoyed our dinner tonight. Ribs are great. Sauce was wonderful. Service and staff super friendly
Just ordered the baby back family meal. Unfortunately, did not have a good experience. Ribs had very little flavor and were a bit tough to get off of the bone. Coleslaw had no flavor and baked beans had a weird texture and little flavor. When you spend this kind of money, you actually expect "Southern BBQ" but this did not resemble anything about southern bbq. too bad.
Food is tasty, but the online ordering experience less than subpar to put it politely.Order promise time is not reflective of order complexity (variety of items). Had to wait an extra 20 minutes (had already been 30) in store for the food and that is after they had to re-enter the whole order in the computer which of course the guy did incorrectly the first time.No refunds possible without coming back to the store, so make sure the order is right before leaving. If you eat in store perhaps it's not so unpleasant especially since it's been empty each time I've been.Recommend you try Smoking J's in Poway instead. It's a smaller menu but better taste and way better handling of complex orders.
The People were very nice and friendly, the food and BBQ sauces were pretty bland. Did enjoy the banana pudding
I called on the phone to ask questions about this place and was greeted by one of the friendliest, most helpful person’s I have encountered. I found out later this is the owner. The food is good with many options. The only surprise was the corn muffins. They are mini’s and a bit dry. I highly recommend the breaded wings with barbecue sauce. Please try this restaurant and you shouldn’t be disappointed.
Piggy Mac was great. Chili was a little too spicy for us.
As a traveling Texan I can tell you this BBQ Rocks...great Ribs (and the Turkey, too, which wouldn't normally be a go-to for me, but the owner recommended it and he was right!). Didn't get to try the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken but heard from others it is great too. Great menu all around and a fun place, check it out, and I'll be back on next trip through!
WOW did not know this BBQ in nearby plaza. Very convenient for take out~I like the chicken sausage~
Kansas City girl here that LOVES BBQ so trying not to be too judgemental ? I ordered pulled pork, chopped brisket, baby back ribs, mac & cheese and baked beans (my usual at any BBQ place). Sides, I was a disappointed by size compared to price. Beans were ok, added more BBQ sauce then oh yeah..I couldn't put them down. Mac & cheese, this looked amazing and first bite was so very yummy then I seen bits of mushrooms ( no where was it stated that contains mushrooms nor do most places use in mac & cheese so I didn't think to ask), I am allergic ? Meats, good but dry on all 3 and ribs where a bit tough and not fall off the bone nor on any of them did the meats speak for themselves BUT the SAUCE!! OMG the sauce is AMAZING and why I gave a 4 star and the staff (the gentleman taking my order was excellent and cares about his customers). Sauce definitely makes it into my top 5, I normally won't use spicy sauce but this...this was again amazing and not overly spicy. I would definitely go back here!

This place is awesome! If you are close by CA-56, stop by for the best Brisket and cold Beer.
Too dry go somewhere else for better bbq
BBQ here is really delicious and the menu has all the staples. Great beer selection, indoor and outdoor seating, and fantastic staff
Very friendly. Best smoked chicken I've found.
