Staying in downtown San Diego and I went to Bubs primarily for their Wing Wednesday deal! The deal was 50% off wings. Got here at 3:30 pm, it was not busy and could easily find a table or place to sit. I ended up ordering an Firestone Walker 805 beer. For wings I ordered 5 Garlic Parmesan and 5 Lemon Pepper. The Lemon Pepper was super super good, amazing rub and flavor. The Garlic Parmesan was ok, great amount of garlic, lots of butter but not too much Parmesan. Both were solid...
Went on a Thursday afternoon and the place was lively but not overwhelming. The wings were incredible—lemon pepper dry rub and mild buffalo, both packed with flavor and great quality. The food was so good I didn’t even stop for a picture. Service was excellent with fast drinks, quick food, and an attentive server. Can’t wait to come back and explore more wing flavors and other menu items!
The girl with the pink hair is the fastest bartender I've ever seen! We went here before the game and within 30 seconds she had us our drinks. Managed to find a seat at the bar right after and got the buffalo tots. Good portion and juicy chicken. Will definitely be back!
