Obsessed! Friends and I were vacationing in San Diego this past week and we stopped here for dinner one of those nights. 10/10 all around. The service was amazing. Our waiter was really helpful and charismatic and even offered to take pictures for us. The food came out steaming hot and it was delicious. I got the spinach and cheese ravioli and the portion size was perfect. The sangria was great too. The vibe in the restaraunt is so gorgeously cozy and pretty and I loved everything about it. If I ever came to San Diego again I would definitely eat here again.

Appetizers (polenta and artichoke) were good but a bit flavorless. The entrees (veal and filet mignon) were pretty terrible. The veal was extremely fatty and the steak not cooked the way I requested and came with an overpowering peppercorn sauce. We felt bad about sending it back so we tried to finish it but couldn't. The spritz we ordered was very watery. They also do not serve any other cocktails. Overall we were super disappointed given the price point. Service was good though.

Got our food 1 whole hour after we ordered (not even exaggerating - receipt shows that I ordered at 7:30pm, but we received our first plate of food at 8:30pm). Their pappardelle dish is just ok - the pasta could also be more al dente. The linguine scallops dish was decent - good flavor and pasta cooked well. Overall not as good as Civico 1845 down the street in my opinion, especially considering the long wait to get the food.
I sat at the bar to eat. The busboy took care of me when the waiter asked him to take care of me. My appetizer was amazing but I stopped there and went elsewhere for my entree and dessert.
