We stopped by The Burger Lounge in Paseo Del Sur for takeout last night. The Burger Lounge is a fast casual American restaurant specializing in grass fed, grass-finished beef. The cashier greeted us warmly and we took advantage of a 25% off special, which made the burgers more affordable.
The California lounge burger was topped with smoked bacon, fresh avocado, lettuce, tomato, and pickles with a slice of cheddar and sauce. The burger was a great portion size and the variety of flavors and textures went well together.
The Truffle mushroom Swiss burger was topped with a truffle aioli, a layer of fresh arugula, and crispy onions. The rich truffle mushroom flavor was prominent with the creamy Swiss cheese. The flavor was a bit one dimensional for my taste, so I’d try another burger or fresh salad next time.
The half and half onion rings and fries came in a huge stack! The onion rings were crisp and the fries were a nice bite.
The interior of the restaurant was clean, bright, and family friendly with plenty of seating for kids and groups. Overall, The Burger Lounge is a nice, fast casual spot and a solid choice for a tasty meal.

Burger Lounge is excellent! The burgers were very tasty, fresh, and served hot, just the way they should be. The service was great—friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a quality burger!

Tasty burgers, but a bit on the expensive side. Very nice, friendly servers (2), but that was insufficient for the workload. Long lines at the counter and waiting for take our, leaving no one to tidy up the dining area - a lot more work than workers. Maybe thing run more smoothly at other times.

Great tasting burgers with perfectly crispy fries. Love their drink choices. Kids can get a small ice cream with the kid's meal. *Kids hamburgers are the right size, not too big.

came her Sunday 7/20 at 8pm. one of the workers (white guy, dirty blonde hair) was extremely rude and aggressive. as soon as we started ordering he had a bad attitude, looked at the ceiling and was rolling his eyes the entire time. he had a nasty tone the entire time, i asked for a milk shake and he nastily replied with “well its gonna take a minute because i have to hand prep everything” and he was also slamming stuff. when he gave us the number for the table he slammed it onto the counter and continued slamming everything when he was making the milkshakes. the food is good and the rest of the people were friendly, but this dude just seemed so miserable. people like that shouldn’t work in customer service

the most consistent 5 star service I have ever seen. BL Team really cares about you! Great job Burger Lounge team! I really cant say enough about them. Food is of course great too! really appreciate grass fed beef and organic cheese.
I absolutely love this location! They always make the food exactly how you want it and they go above and beyond to be incredibly thoughtful and kind. I never have to worry about my burger being made incorrectly and the environment is very comfortable. I like that they don’t play the music really loud like other locations do. It’s nice to have a calm environment when you’re eating your food. This is the best Burger Lounge location in San Diego County.

Ordered a substitute veg patty for the original beef patty and they upcharged me. This is the first time I come across such robbery. They apparently upcharge for any other patty on the menu. This is not a substitution but an upgrade. Wish they told me about it upfront. Common sense is hardly common ?
