A place to get burgers & bait and beer while you're fishing. Although technically, you don't have to be fishing to eat here. If you're walking by or you're in the area and it's a nice day, it's a nice place to just grab a little bite to eat, especially on a nice day.The prices are a tad high but let's just say having a burger in the sunshine is totally worth it.Parking: Plenty of free parking. It's at a park right next to a large music venue and when there's no music, there's plenty of parking.

This is a hidden gem behind the convention center. I really enjoy this spot as a place to take a break during a leisurely bike ride down by the Harbor. The burgers are good and you can grab a pint of beer if you please. I believe they also make TJ dogs if that's your thing. The seating is outdoor. It's just a really chill spot and I will continue to come here as long as they're around.

I've been eating here for years. A hidden gem of San Diego outdoor eating..Excellent food and friendly service. Not to mention cold beer. John

Authentic carne asada and carnitas tacos, sitting right on the water. Burgers are supposed to be fire as well, so plenty of options. Outside seating only, so prepare for the sun and a cool breeze off the harbor! Worth the trip!

I’m here Feb 8th 11:43 am. Google says the place is open at 11:30 am. It is closed. False info on the operating hours. Do not come.

Walked quite a bit up from the Hilton to support local business. They were closing when I arrived at 3:45pm.I let them know that online says open until 5:30pm.Lady told me “oh yeah.. well we were slow, sorry”Huge missed opportunity from all convention people who were walking past pier at 4pm.Also not a way to run a business.Stay true to your posted hours.

Coastal Delights: A Culinary Adventure at Burgers, Bait & Beer in San DiegoNestled in the vibrant culinary scene of San Diego, Burgers, Bait & Beer is a hidden gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. My recent visit to this coastal haven left me thoroughly impressed, and I can't wait to share the highlights of my delightful meal.Upon entering the lively and laid-back atmosphere of Burgers, Bait & Beer, I was immediately drawn to the tantalizing aroma of sizzling burgers and the cheerful chatter of satisfied patrons. The welcoming staff set the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon, and their genuine enthusiasm for the menu was contagious. The star of the show was undoubtedly the bacon cheeseburger I ordered. Each bite was a celebration of flavor, with the smoky richness of the bacon complementing the juicy beef patty and melted cheese perfectly. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and it was clear that the chefs take great pride in crafting each burger to perfection. The bun was fresh and the toppings were crisp, resulting in a burger that surpassed all expectations. To accompany my delectable meal, I opted for a refreshing Mango Cart beer. This local brew was a delightful complement to the savory flavors of the burger, offering a tropical and fruity note that enhanced the overall dining experience. The diverse beer selection at Burgers, Bait & Beer is a testament to their commitment to providing a well-rounded and satisfying beverage program. The relaxed coastal ambiance of the restaurant, combined with the mouthwatering burger and the perfectly paired beer, made for a truly memorable dining experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor to San Diego, Burgers, Bait & Beer is a must-visit destination for those seeking exceptional food and a laid-back atmosphere. In conclusion, my experience at Burgers, Bait & Beer was nothing short of exceptional. The bacon cheeseburger and Mango Cart beer left a lasting impression, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the art of crafting a perfect burger. If you find yourself in San Diego, make sure to carve out time for a visit to this culinary gem – you won't be disappointed.

Heard it was the best burger in San Diego and decided to make the walk to try it. It very well might be the best burger I've ever had! You have to check them out, simple all American burger with grilled onions was so good I had to finish it all.

This is a nice stop on our bike ride for a cheap snack . We have come here many times for their burgers. They don't serve fries which is a bummer and they have limited choices for drinks as well.
