Coming from the midwest, we were up early and happy to find a place close to our lodging open at 6am. It was quiet with a nice outdoor patio. My husband's breakfast burrito was huge and delicious. I had a breakfast bagel sandwich, and it was just what I needed.

It’s hard to find a traditional bagel spot nowadays. We’ll look no further! We can visiting from out of town and walked in and felt like a local instantly. Great food made by great people. I ate here every morning for 4 days!

Cafe Vahik was the most comfortable place to eat breakfast and reassemble my thoughts at 7 AM. The availability of loose bananas was a boon I took advantage of twice during my stay. Quiet, warm, friendly, and not like any other place around.

Café Vahik is a great place to get breakfast! They have a high-quality menu with something for everyone. We especially enjoyed the healthy Mediterranean options--the omelets were delicious! Vahik is very nice and works hard to provide a good experience for his customers. Atmosphere is chill and cozy. We look forward to coming back!

What great lil place in la jolla. We stayed at the Shoal hotel, and this little spot was right next door. Great breakfast, and the guy working behind the counter (assume it was the owner) was very nice and attentive. Overall, this place is fantastic. Thanks Cafe Vahik

I was there for a few days at the Shoal and this was my go-to spot. Cahill offers a hospitality as if he’s known you for years. The food was amazing and everything I tried on the menu was great. The prices were the best I came across and this was definitely a core memory for me in my first time going to La Jolla I’ll always remember this cafe.
