In search of Mediterranean food, we stumbled on to this cafe tucked away in a corner on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach. Food was delicious, good portion sizes, and a variety of plates. I’ll definitely be back again.

We have been customer for over a decade and was a go to place when in pb. We moved away for last 3 years but came back and found things in menu changed. The pizza was a dijorona frozen thing which was same as grocery store. The salad has changed with dressing and cost for large salad and gyro for 20 bucks. Maybe it's all me and my wife but that's ridiculous to spend 50 on a that meal. Sorry my love for Athena is gone. Will I give it another chance. Of course you been...

The place is very beautiful, the service is excellent, including in Portuguese from the staff. The food was perfect. We ordered the bruschetta and another starter with flambéed cheese, which were especially delicious. It was really worth it, one of the best places I ate in the USA.
