Came for a late lunch and preliminary impressed with how busy and nice the restaurant was. No wait time and ambiance was nice, clean establishment and amicable staff. Unfortunately the food and drinks were subpar. The Moscow mule I ordered did not taste like a Moscow mule, tasted flat and flavor was off like a tamarind subsitute. The barbacoa (burrito) was okay, meat was moist but beans were salty and the rice was just rice. Seats were cramped and not enough room on one table...
Mexican dining al fresco in Old Town. I prefer their margaritas to some others nearby. I also like their carnitas, which are on the leaner side. The enchiladas were short on sauce. Rose sangria is excellent for summer time.
Great food, fun atmosphere, & attentive service! The only thing I didn't like was the photographer who took pics of our table & the solicitation to buy those pics. It feels a bit forced & obligatory. Otherwise the food is authentic, the drinks are large, & the servers friendly!! Would go again!
