Okay I got an international student he's from belgium, he was feeling homesick so I Googled where do I find a Belgian waffle from cuz Lord knows I don't cook. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised and happy to say that this place is totally legit! Almost too many choices but just enough for me. My Belgian student said this was probably better than they are in Belgium he said something about pearl sugar not sure what that is but congratulations you guys are doing a great job.
Parking: Though there are lots of free spots it kind of takes a second to get to the shop front door. But not to worry you need to work out those calories anyways

Chewy savory crepe and chewy bland waffle. I knew we were in trouble just watching them prepare the food. The waffle “batter”: she took a lump of dough and kneaded it into the shape of the waffle iron (like playdoh consistency). The waffle was NOT a Belgian Liege type of waffle, that is supposed to have tiny sugar bits in it. The crepe was a solid brown shade with slices of ham, lumps of scrambled egg and cheese. Tough to cut and eat. Rubbery. Crepes should be light and airy and be tender. That was $20 down the drain. How can this place be in business this long with good reviews? We were on vacation so will never even have to think about eating there again. We used to live in Europe…we know what Belgian waffles and crepes are supposed to taste like.. heck just had waffles at a brew pub in Phoenix today that were excellent. Too easy to be bad. Service was fine.

First time here. I ordered a ham, cheese, egg crepe and a brown sugar belgian waffle, and strawberry crepe. The crepes were HUGE and delicious, the waffle was crispy and flavorful. I feel full just from my crepeI forgot ALL about taking the picture because it was too delicious!?

I tried many samples. Service was good but the icecream was weird. It wasn't creamy and it tasted like seeds for the pistachio icecream. The crepe is good same as alot of other crepes but the icecream was not good at all. ?

It's actually a 4.5 star for me. Cafe hue is really nice and cute, I took off .5 points because I ordered their Nutella Mixed Berry Crepe, and I didn't think too much of it because it's berries (blue, rasp, and strawberry come to mind). I didn't know they had kiwi in it, and I have a slight allergic reaction to kiwis. Though is it my fault for just assuming there wasn't kiwi in it. But overall, the crepe is delicious, and I would order again, just a different crepe selection
I usually don’t review but Hue cafe has the best caramel latte I’ve had since living in San Diego for the last seven years. Not too strong, foamy, creamy delicate. I’ve seen a lot of male groups come for the gelato and female groups for the crepe and coffee. It’s perfect for everyone. This cafe should be in La Jolla by the water!

A cute little cafe that serves great coffees, tea drinks and gelato. Oh, and a variety good sweet and savory crepes. Oh, and yummy Belgian waffles. It’s in a great location next to some amazing Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants. A cool spot to sit and chat. Free wifi!
