Tried the açaí bowl — it does say it’s açaí sorbet, so I wasn’t expecting fresh-blended. But even the berries on top were frozen, and the peanut butter was just slapped on in a glob. It felt more like a rushed, prepackaged dessert than anything thoughtfully prepared.

The employees were friendly and helpful, so no complaints there — but it’s clear the problem is with management and operations. This café is in the heart of Balboa Park — one of the most visited spots in San Diego — and they’re serving frozen fruit with zero effort?

Step it up.

Quiet coffee shop inside Balboa Park outside San Diego. We all had fruit smoothies…. Strawberry, Siper Greens, and Acia. Felt like the bananas weren’t ripe, but good overall. Thank you

The man in the front taking orders has the worse customer service. I cannot imagine working in the food service and having that attitude. Made my self and my family very uncomfortable hopefully he has a better day and decides to smile a little. 5/13/25 He was wearing a Titans beanie.

The food was really above expectations. Both the panini sandwich and the hotdog were excellent.

Grab a coffee and walk the grounds. The Mexicano Mocha Nitro was good.

Best value since we arrived in San Diego for a week long visit.

Surprisingly good burger at a very reasonable price. My wife had the basic burger and I had the bacon cheeseburger they were both excellent!

adorable little coffee shop hidden at the top of Museum entrance. they have a variety of hot and cold coffees, including other Beverages and Light bites. great little spot if you're looking for something to munch on or sip on while walking around by the park.

The service was quick but the line was long. I had one latte but truly one of the worst coffees I had in my life. It was very crowded with no place to sit.
