Visited this place during a short business trip and was amazed. The interior is modern with a warm vibe, perfect for either casual or formal meals. I ordered the Thai green curry with jasmine rice — it had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess. The staff was quick, professional, and genuinely friendly. Definitely a place I’d return to with colleagues or friends.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego. It is small but it is powerful. The food is wonderful. The service is friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. I cannot say enough good things about Cafe Luna. We love this place.

Jamie W., owner of Cafe Luna, called and physically signed for my vehicle to be impounded from the large public lot that Cafe Luna is located in. She was informed it wasn't stolen by SDPD. There was a sign on the dash stating I was arranging tow/repairs - it wasn't abandoned (transmission went out while on the highway). She could've had SDPD contact me. When I arrived get it towed home, it was gone. Unfortunately, I'm a disabled veteran, single parent with very limited income, had literally just purchased the car and can't recover it. The owner of the tow company doesn't offer low-income options. **The police couldn't find record of tow so I filed a stolen vehicle report, was later notified of tow. By that time it was too late. I take responsibility for my part but by her being a little empathetic or patient it would've allowed me to get and keep our car.

Might i suggest on the weekend...have a reservation in advance. Parking is tuff on a Friday night. Once inside you feel like you have escaped to somewhere other than a strip mall. Very cute and quaint place. Our service was excellent! The drink "the other woman" was quite delightful, we also liked the Barbera wine. Favorable vegetarian options but limited at the same time. The bolognese was quite the presentation and had good flavor but overall it was dry. The bread (yum) and sauce (yum) are excellent. We added the left over bread sauce to the bolognese which made it more enjoyable. You have to try the sweet potato gnocchi dish maybe even share it as an appetizer. Delish! Just a heads up, on the weekends the bar is not available for regular use. We are the type of people to pop in and have a drink or two and learned that wasn't an option. Too bad, seems like a fun place to hang out especially when they have music but it is small so you have that. Check it out!
