We called ahead just to make sure that they were gonna be open because we were bringing our 90-year-old mother-in-law. We get there at four and they say they’re closed. Must be nice to just arbitrarily. Choose when you close.

I was absolutely disgusted to find what appeared to be a bitten fingernail in my tomato soup. The manager was kind and understanding, acknowledging that this was unacceptable and offering a full refund. However, after taking the item to inspect it, they returned and claimed it was a piece of onion skin. I’ll let you decide based on the photo.

On top of that, the silverware was filthy—we had to ask for plastic spoons. I won’t be coming back here and would much rather eat somewhere clean.

The ambiance was wonderful, and the service was excellent. The cilantro lime salad I had was very tasty. I gave it four stars because nothing is perfect in life, and we should always strive to improve.

Toasted bread on my turkey sandwich was cold, and hard. Couldn’t even bite through. Caesar salad was drowned in dressing and not edible. Clam chowder was lukewarm, and they were out of some menu items. Also, the place is so loud and crowded, Definitely a disappointment.

My sandwich was great! Service was horrible. Not sure what the waiter’s problem is but he was nice to his other tables, but not us. Never greeted us, checked on us and we had to ask for multiple things while we saw him checking up on his other tables. Next time I’ll take it to go

Cafe Nordstrom at Fashion Valley offers a stylish and cozy ambiance, albeit a bit dimly lit. The menu is diverse and delicious, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients. Service is attentive and professional, making it a great spot for a memorable meal amidst your shopping trip.

The bowl of soup has shrunk and the crispini is now a greasy toasted bread piece. Wait staff are great. But the back office should take note of the impact cost cutting has on the customer experience.
