CLOSED - coffee shop is closed. Not the best walk either.
Update: Virtuoso was once, the higher end, Organic coffee beans that give the coffee a fresh and, most notably, a clean taste that is highly enjoyable. Was one of the best Coffee Roasters in San Diego County. This was my go to roaster for every day coffee. It's changed to Talitha, and I dropped one Star for two reasons: not knowing if the beans are roasted freshly or part of a big batch that's a few weeks old; and, second reason, slow shipping--no beans yet. One plus, Talitha still have a few beans that made Virtuoso, and ordered them. Will they be as good, or even better, I will update. My biggest issue with ever roaster is not knowing type of bean(s), origin, country, etc...
Great coffee and I bought some for my coworkers and they loved it!!!
Guatemala is my favorite of all
This is a great place
Favorite coffee in SD!
Closed, with no online notice
When in early morning 8am. I waited longer than the drive through at Starbucks. They were not prepared they took FOREVER for two iced mochas. And the whipped cream on them was very sloppy looked like my 6yr old did it. Sucks to wait that long for the area they’re in. Homeless EVERYWHERE
They make the best Cortado

Sadly, Our experience was not as great as other reviews. Our pastries were nothing special and did not feel quite fresh. The brew was nothing spectacular as well. Maybe we just did not order the best items on the menu? The area does not feel safe. Staff is friendly.
Bad experience, the barista was opposite of welcoming. They let in a homeless guy that was doing his crazy talk at me. Coffee was decent
Organic coffee and Organic milk. They also have real whip cream ! I bought both a hot and iced mocha with dark chocolate. Excellent ??. Too bad we found this place at the tail end of our stay in San Diego.
The service is not what it used to be, the Baristas are not what they used to be. I come in no greeting, no smile. The lattes are not presented how they used to be. Honestly it all went more downhill when Mary left. She was the last good Barista.I've always come weekly to Virtuoso for more than 3 years. And although the quality of the coffee beans is still great, the service is not. I also miss seeing latte art on the lattes.
Hands down the best coffee in San Diego….
