Absolutely amazing. Some of the best mocha I've had and the croissants are to die for.The owner made my coffee and it's so quaint and honest. You can tell that this is a place run by a small family who is trying and the quality of their food and service reflects that. Will absolutely be coming back, can't wait for more of those amazing croissants.

Amazing food, cozy decor and super nice and friendly staff. Coming from Denmark, the land of “hygge” (cozy would be the best way to translate hygge) I would definitely come back to this nice place

Oh My God!!! This is the phrase I can use to describe that delicious fresh Italian food they serve. The owner is so sweet. She’s Italian herself and very picky with products she uses. As we all know Italians are always about amazing food. The server also is incredibly nice. So, I for sure suggest to come and give it a try! Oh, and yeah, Happy Hours are offered too!

This is truly a piece of Italy! Don’t be fooled by the typical cafe style interior, they produce delicious quality food. Good portion sizes and if you still have a little room try any of the desserts it’s heavenly

I am so happy San Luca exists! I studied in Italy for a few months and used to drink Espresso like water because it was so good. Fast forward 8 years and now living in San Diego I finally found that perfect Italian espresso again. The owner Alice who is so sweet introduced me to the Double Macchiato and now I am hooked! I add 1 small sugar and stir for 30 seconds. Heaven!

Great food and very attentive service. Espresso was too bitter.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Best cappuccino since the ones we had in Italy a few years ago. The chocolate muffin was nice and chocolatey without being overly sweet. Great service too.

This place is amazing... my sis got a cappuccino which was like— a REAL Italian cappucino. And when we tasted our bombolone with lemon cream— light and fluffy perfection— she actually cried. She said “It tastes like Italy.” It took her back there. What a gift after a really hard year. I mean... What more can you say? ‍♀️😭❤️

😮 Soooo amazing! All of the ingredients for the Parma are sourced from Italy. You can taste the quality of the olive oil gently dressing the fresh arugula. And as my eyes close and senses are filled with goodness, Andrea Bocelli sounds in the background in this tiny little cafe that could be in 🇮🇹, but instead, a small strip mall in Hillcrest, San Diego. Most don't find it because it's not straight away on 5th...but venture out and discover a new San-Italy favorite.
