Not on the menu but they made me an affogato and it was great!!! has a “locals” vibe….not a huge assortment of gelato but just enough to wet most people’s whistle…would definitely recommend this place as an after dinner dessert destination and try an affogato…if more people ask for it then maybe it will make it on their menu

Me and my boyfriend got a Airbnb in the heart of little Italy to celebrate our anniversary. On the morning of March 27th around the time they opened we came in to order some breakfast. No one else was in there but two workers. We made our order with the women at the register. After I paid I heard a women from the kitchen yelling “are they really going to eat all of this?!”. I was shocked. In all of my life I’ve never had an interaction with a food service worker quite like this. Mind you we ordered two avocado toast’s, a fruit toast, and two drinks. She was upset that she had to fulfill our order that early in the morning. The Women who was helping us even had to tell her to stop being rude to us. I recall her saying “stop! They can hear you”. She was so apologetic on her behalf but I was so upset at the comments and attitude that women in the kitchen kept screaming at us that I demanded my order be cancelled and refund immediately. The women who was helping us was kind enough to give us our drink on the house and our money back. When we left I was visibly shaken up and appalled at the experience we just had. I’m sure this place is nice on most days but unfortunately I was never able to find out due to this women having a bad day and not wanting to do her job. We ended up walking over to a restaurant called “morning glory” and had a much better experience. I tried calling the café a number of times since and every time I call they say the manger is never in. I’d loved to speak to him about my experience but since I can’t get a hold of him I decided to write this review.

I can tell that this cafe is loved by a lot of folks, given the servers were talking to almost every second person who entered, but that is no excuse to serve your favorites before others. I ordered a hot chocolate, which is literally one of the simplest drinks that they completely forgot to make because it seemed like they were serving the people they know? I don’t know - but I waited 10 mins and then walked up and a different lady who was taking orders now made it for me very quickly. She apologized but this wait, the environment ruined the whole experience.
Coming to the hot chocolate - not at all my favorite: bad proportions for what the cost is.
Additionally, the area where I was sitting was extremely dirty. I saw another person next to me wiping their seat and table on their own. I thought this is the work of the management and not a customer.
Definitely not my top cafe choice in the area ☹️

Nice specialty coffee spot (with breakfast options). White Mocha was nice (ask them to add cinnamon on top to make it more delectable). Egg panini needed some salt/pepper/salsa, but the prosciutto and fig sandwich was nice.
