The prices- Wow. $7.50 for a medium latte. Then they want a tip?

I wanted to make this my usual coffee spot, but just spent $5.50 on a regular coffee which is a little high in my opinion for a regular hot black coffee. Then, I guess the barista didn’t put my lid on completely and tight, so the lid flew off and coffee spilled everywhere in my car. Not a great experience to deal with first thing in the morning.

I really really wanted to like the coffee here. Cali Cafe is a small shop with literally one table outside for seating so most people take their food and drinks to go. I ordered the Toffee Nut Latte and it had the oddest taste - nothing like toffee nut I’ve had anywhere else. Additionally there was a burnt sort of taste to the coffee so I’m not sure if the temperature was set correctly for brewing. On the bright side, I would say the employees working were super friendly and kind. Just not sure I would go back based on the coffee.

Great little hut in a parking lot. The service was very friendly and answered all of my questions. It wasn't busy when I went at 8am but I'm sure it gets they way. I ordered a large white mocha which had 5 shots of espresso !! Wow! Items came out quickly. Unfortunately the prices were really high in comparison to similar places and instead of making this a daily routine I unfortunately will only come here if in the neighborhood. The prices on the bowls were not feasible and I know it's a small business but....

Not worth the trip. I thought the coffee was okay but definitely overpriced. The cashier/servers could use some customer service training. I ain’t your honey, just take my order.

Cali Cafe has the best Acai bowls!! When I feel like treating myself, I always opt to get an Acai bowl. I like the one with Tajin. My other half enjoys the one with peanut butter! I feel like you can't go wrong with any of them.

Melissa was so accommodating for my order I am a celiac, She changed her gloves, provided me add-ons and kept my blender clean and the items that went into my drink! and even remembered my name. My husband and I have been coming here for over a year and we LOVE it. So nice to have a local place make someone with extreme allergies like myself feel normal. There is a cute patio, great options, and they stay open late until 9 but make sure to get there before 9 to order before last call :)Dietary restrictions: CELIAC FRIENDLYParking: Local lot, easy to park inKid-friendliness: There is a little patio corner to sit onWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get up to the window with waiting room

Did not experience food. Was very interested in what this notch "coffee" shop offered. I asked about special benefits ie: gut health, energy health ect. Your 2 specialty servers offered that the benefits were a "preference " matter...... ok Thank

Great place. Sometimes a bit short staffed. Suggest wiping down the dining table periodically. Possibly daily??

I have been coming here since I moved to San Diego in 2017. I started with the smoothies and tried the chunky monkey açaí bowl and I am hooked! I get one at least once a week. Hands down best açaí bowl I've ever had.

This place gets +1 star for - being a local business- having fresh ingredients - being 2 minutes from my apartment Other than that, I've been disappointed in everything I've consumed here. A smoothie I got was more of a juice, the cookies were dry and crumbly, I came back here a few months later to try the açaí bowls and they were 100% given to me melted. I live two minutes away, so there is no way it would've melted within transportation time. The smoothies are the consistency of what a juice should be. The açaí bowls are the consistency of what a smoothie should be. I've given this place a fair chance across their menu items. Now that I've received warm and soupy açaí I know not to come back.

Took the barista’s recommendation for a peanut buttercup frappe and my life will never be the same! Love this place. Quick, friendly, and delicious!
