Let me say that San Diego can overwhelm you with taco spots to try, but this place is amongst one of the MUST TRY places. As a chef, I like dishes that make my tastebuds dance without the ingredients being too complex, they nailed it. I will say, the lobster taco is straight imitation lobster, it's a few bucks-not expensive, so I get it; If they could use real lobster with those flavors they put together, it would knock off half of the sweetness for the perfect balance, in my opinion. I'd pay more for it. I tried all the tacos except the pork tacos, just preference, and I didn't get a bad one, the only critique I would have is to have more of a crunch . Great food!

Cali Craft catered our birthday party for 60 people and they were incredible!! Not only was the food delicious - people kept coming up to us saying how flavorful and tender the meat was - but they were super responsive while we prepped for the event and were so accommodating with our horrible weather! It was super rainy and they brought an extra tent so guests wouldn't have to stand in the rain. Can't recommend them enough!

For the main course, we decided to offer a variety of tacos from Cali Craft Tacos. We had chicken tacos for the kids and as a safe option for guests with any dietary restrictions (the chicken was still a delicious option by the way). The Baja-style fish tacos were incredibly delicious, with the fish cooked to perfection and topped with fresh toppings. The al pastor tacos were also a crowd favorite, with tender marinated pork and all the traditional fixings like pineapple of course. As for the presentation for the tacos, the tacos had the wedding-esq fancy appearance but that street taco vibe which we absolutely LOVED!!
May and Eric from Cali Craft Tacos went the extra mile by not only providing exceptional food but also helping with additional tasks during our event. They graciously offered to cut our cake, which was a wonderful gesture that allowed us to enjoy the moment without any worry.
