I ordered some catering for 12 for an afternoon family event this past weekend and was so incredibly impressed! I literally picked this place by reviews alone and the masses did not disappoint.We did the Golden Taco Package, along with Esquites, Guacamole, Chips/Salsa, and Churros. The food arrived exactly when delivery time was scheduled. They provided serving spoons along with free tableware which was great since we were doing everything outdoors. Everyone was so incredibly complimentary of the food and how delicious it was. Everyone was so anxious to dig into the food, I had completely forgotten to take photos of the delicious spread that was delivered with all the various sauces, etc.Hands down, if I ever need catering for another event in San Diego - this will be my go to!

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Cali Craft Tacos for our wedding, and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Our wedding had a Mexican theme, and we decided to go with street tacos as the main course. From the moment we contacted May and Eric at Cali Craft Tacos, they went above and beyond to ensure that our menu was perfect for our guests. May, from Cali Craft Tacos, was incredibly helpful and patient in helping us choose the right combination of tacos for our special day. She understood our vision and worked closely with us to create a menu that would leave our guests satisfied. Eric's and May's close attention to detail and expertise in Mexican cuisine made us feel confident that our food would be a highlight of the event (spoiler alert..it was!). Not only did May and Erik help us with the menu, but they also played a crucial role in calming our nerves before our big day. Their friendly and reassuring demeanor made us feel at ease, knowing that we were in good hands. May and Erik truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went flawlessly on our wedding day. One of the standout dishes during the cocktail hour was the tostaditas de tinga. They were an absolute hit with our guests, and we received nothing but positive feedback!! The flavors were vibrant and authentic, and the presentation was visually appealing. It set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The guacamole and salsas were fresh and homemade and our guests loved those sides too!! For the main course, we decided to offer a variety of tacos from Cali Craft Tacos. We had chicken tacos for the kids and as a safe option for guests with any dietary restrictions (the chicken was still a delicious option by the way). The Baja-style fish tacos were incredibly delicious, with the fish cooked to perfection and topped with fresh toppings. The al pastor tacos were also a crowd favorite, with tender marinated pork and all the traditional fixings like pineapple of course. As for the presentation for the tacos, the tacos had the wedding-esq fancy appearance but that street taco vibe which we absolutely LOVED!! May and Eric from Cali Craft Tacos went the extra mile by not only providing exceptional food but also helping with additional tasks during our event. They graciously offered to cut our cake, which was a wonderful gesture that allowed us to enjoy the moment without any worry. They even accommodated our request to stay for a few extra hours, ensuring that the celebration continued smoothly. We had around 175 guests and everyone was fed in a timely manner. Overall, Cali Craft Tacos' catering service was outstanding. Their attention to detail, personal touch, and genuine care made our wedding day truly memorable. The street tacos were a huge hit, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors. I researched far and wide and they were amazing in that they had various tiers to choose from and I could also customize my order however I wanted on top of which level I ordered. They also have a way for you to try the food which was really important to us. After tasting it, I seriously couldn't wait for the event so I could eat their food again. They were wonderful to work with - so accommodating and friendly. The presentation and professionalism was top notch. But best of all - my guests thought the food was amazing! People kept coming up to tell me how good it was. The favorite was definitely the battered fish taco. I wish they had a restaurant so I could eat their food more often!
