California Fish Grill

Everything here is craveable and super tastey. One of my favorite chill spots in carmel mountian.

They messed up my order twice, so it was a long wait. They are usually pretty good; just had a bad day I guess. The food is good here.

Because of my dietary restrictions I always get anxious when going out out of fear of being “ a difficult customer”. However today my mother and I came to this CFG and Joseph was amazing . He allowed us to alter our meals in a way we could still enjoy. I’d recommend this location to anyone wanting a quick and delicious bite with great customer service ! Thank you again Joseph ! ☺️

I work near this restaurant and go there often. One thing is for sure is that they teach their staff to be courteous, polite a d helpful. They use automated order screens, yet there is always a helpful face to ask every time if I need help. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. It doesn't take long to receive your order, and that makes it an ideal spot for a quick lunch or dinner on the go. They also have an outdoor dining area in the back.

Will not take American cash -asked for tip starting at 15% for ONLY TAKING card -we ordered on kiosk — but wanted to pay cash — would not take it —used card & was asked to tip— tip for ???… CA Minimum wages, high cooks, get even usually more.. left money on table for clean up person—only in Carmel Mountain SD

I appreciate the cheerful staffers always willing to help me modify my order. The food is always cooked to order and plentiful. The restaurant is always clean and plenty of seating.

I always try something new on the menu when I go here, it's always busy and never takes long to get food. The only thing that kinda bugs me is the chairs are loud outdoor metal chairs that screech when moved, and the auto tip feature on self checkout.

Good tasting food and good quality, especially for fast food, but I find the portion sizes to be inconsistent, even when you pay extra (like with avocado). I like that they use real dishes in the restaurant, but I wouldn’t recommend take out unless you can’t avoid it. So much plastic! It kind of spoiled my meal to waste that many containers. I ordered two salmon salads and received the order in four plastic containers. They put each tiny piece of salmon in its own container, separate from the salads. I get why they do that since they don’t know how far you’re traveling, but since it’s expected that we tip them even though it’s almost completely a self service restaurant, I think it would be nice if the customer was told they had an option to save some plastic by combining items. I know that’s more difficult because we’re ordering on a machine and they don’t see the order right away, but it’s unfortunate. If I need to get take out, I’ll go somewhere else in the future.
