Excellent fish items. Fishes are high quality. Grilling is almost perfect. Marinade, especially cajun, is supreme. Portions are sufficient. Service is above board except that ordering is at the counter and not on your table. Overall, a high caliber restaurant.

Food wise, good food that's a bit overpriced.
Customer service leaves to be desired. Asked allergen related questions and had the worker actually leave to the back area and not return while actively being asked questions. Staff seemed annoyed at being asked basic allergen (gluten, dairy) questions.
Was told "Gluten free menu" is somewhat inaccurate after mentioning that fries were listed as both gluten free and gluten containing.
Overall, will not be returning.

Where has this casual seafood chain restaurant been all my life? For less than $12, you can get delightful and delicious fish entree and two sides of your choice! The most expensive entrees are sockeye salmon and ahi, which are only $17! Wife's $16 branzino was grilled perfectly blackened Cajun style, and my $13 shrimp and tilapia combo were equally delicious, the chimchurri sauce was wonderful and flavorful. For only $3.50 extra I got a nice deep fried fish piece with tarter sauce...delicious and an incredible value. Interior is clean and modern, service is friendly all around, this is a order at the counter and take a buzzer eatery, so this lower costs. Can't wait to eat here again!

This is my second time trying CFG and this time around was much better than the first. The first time wasn't all that great maybe because of what I ordered which was the shrimp+calamari. The calamari was too tough and hard to chew. I decided to change it up this time and went with the Cajun salmon burger along with the shrimp trio. Very tasty and cooked well. Not overdone or under cooked. The spicy honey glaze was a perfect compliment with the meal. The tartar sauce is actually really good too. Definitely a better experience than my first time which is why I often like to try a restaurant a few times if possible before leaving a review. I will definitely be coming back here again.

the food , It was good , but this place needs a lot of improvement , there is a code to use the restroom, which i find it embarrassing to ask for it , my food came with no utensils or napkins, the worker asked for my last name after i gave him my first name , like i was trying to steal food or something? Definitely needs better customer service. Works here lacks customer service skills, they don't smile, they will give you the food without saying anything, this will be my last time coming to this place !

As a long time patron of Mr. Fish and Chips I'm switching to this place. The fried fish is much, much better, as is the tartar sauce. However, the chips (fries) are less good/mediocre, and the slaw is outright BAD. But they have very good salads. So instead of fish and chips I'll probably be getting battered fish and salad, which sounds way more balanced than TWO types of fried food. If only you could get your fries from Five Guys and your Fish from here you'd have the ultimate fish and chips in Claremont.
Ordering is by kiosk, no cash accepted, so might as well place your order online before you even go in. Turn around was about 15 minutes, very reasonable. Pretty nice outdoor seating, well shaded and not too noisy.
