California Pizza Kitchen at Fashion Valley

As far as chain Pizza, restaurants go, CPK is always a good option. This location is clean and relatively easy to get to. I have been here a few times and the service has usually been very good. There can be a significant delay for service if you go during peak times.

Best attentive Waiter we’ve ever had at any restaurant! Steven took excellent care of us despite having a full section. Immediately brought us everything we asked for and brought us drink refills before we were empty!! Double bonus at CPK tonight as they brought back Milanese Chicken for a limited time! And my husband’s favorite, the.BBQ chicken pizza with avocado is not to be missed! Hopefully they will keep this on the menu as it is our family’s favorite!

I really love this CPK and a couple servers in particular (Shantal and Annie! Friendly, remember us and our orders, perfect service every time, notice and fix immediately anything that doesn’t come out right from the kitchen. These ladies are amazing!) BUT….the main bar TV is a broken dark blue that is basically unwatchable. We like to watch football there on Sundays and have been avoiding it because of the broken TV. Fix the TV! It’s been months…cmon CPK!

Classic CPK, good for the price, and gently of pizza to go around. The drinks were kinda rough but the service and atmosphere was fantastic

Tbh I wanted to give this place a try but every time I go here I’m disappointed. The service always takes forever and they always treat you differently if you’re eating alone. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m honestly very disappointed about this CPC, I’m usually a big fan of the chain, but the one in Fashion Valley is not it.

They have 1 server that was sooo nice and went above and beyond, he was a Latino man he was so sweet. Unfortunately, he was not our server. We unfortunately got another lady and she was not very nice and had a little bit on an attitude.

The food was okay, I feel like other locations have a better quality food.

California peach kitchen pizza was good. I ordered the gluten-free pepperoni pizza tastes great. The white corn salsa was great, the tomato basil soup was not bad. The chicken tortilla soup was a little bit on the salty side. Overall, the takeout service was awesome and was able to sit and watch a game and have a little bit of Beer waiting for my food.

I ordered an entire key lime pie for a dinner party quest which was almost $100.00 delivered by Uber.
The CPK failed to include the whip cream which enhances the flavor of the desert. It was a fiasco getting someone to run out to get real whip crème. My quest was nearly late for her plane. CPK is not reliable for special events and I also over tipped the deliverer who only delivered the order in part. I expect CPK to make up for this near disaster which was intended to be a celebratory occasion. Their customer service failed twice when I called in to complain as they transferred me to a message machine. A heck of a lot of good that did!!! I guess we will see how they decide to make it up to me. It was not the dinner party I planned MEB

A restaurant with pizza and other Italian delicacies in a Californian style. Medium-sized pizza, just like ours. Maybe sometimes more interesting flavors, like avocado, which was in ours. Beer or wine as an addition.

Charlotte was an excellent server. Made our experience positive. She was upbeat and friendly! She helped make the blaring music from the restaurant across the way which basically ruined our lunch.

Food was OK but lacked the punch. We had been going to Encinitas location before it shut down. But service really disappointed. We asked for bread twice while waiting but never got. The same waitress was proactively asking the next table if they want bread!
