Really good food. Young hipster woke vibe. Excellent service, extremely attentive staff. This time we had the squash blossoms which were excellent. The Aleppo chicken was good, last time it was amazing. Papas braves were alright. The tuna was excellent. It is a little expensive, but a fair value. They have free underground parking.
Was a great experience.. the grilled lamb and the watermelon said out of this world.
Wasn't impressed with the octopus..
Well worth a try we'll be back again
Fantastic spot. Find this if you’re just in for a night. The chicken is the best. Which sounds weird but just trust me. Also try any specials or other recommended dishes. For wine, go to the Som. We got a “weird” red and it paired awesome. I will be back here.
I had an unhappy dinner at Callie last night with my girlfriend. Because we went to another restaurant for food before Callie, that’s why we didn’t order much.
The server was really Friendly at the beginning. He offered all the expensive food and wine. But after we told him we had food at another restaurant and ordered only 3 dishes, I can tell right away he is not happy because we ordered so little food.
Then during the whole time he only come up twice just to be polite, we even did our own cutlery set up. When we asked for the bill he just said the tips was already included and nothing else.
Myself as a fine dining industry worker at one of the best restaurant in Vancouver, I know how good service should be and I know want dish I want to order. The food was comfort and the service was shit, even the busser and food runner talks to us more than the service. This restaurant is not good enough to charge 24% mandatory tips.
Oh by the way, the server’s name is Eduardo G.will never come back again!
The atmosphere is warm, the food is delicious, and the people who served me were incredible. I will definitely go back.
A culinary delight with flavors that explode upon bite after bite. Service was very attentive and thoughtful. They provided a congrats card for our anniversary. It is so worthy the cost because there is nothing like this dining experience.
Edit: I was surprised this morning to see that our entire meal was refunded based on my review below. I do appreciate this, though of course this was not my intent.
Callie clearly takes their service seriously and I am happy to acknowledge that by revising my review from 3 to 4 stars. Were our time here not limited, I would give them another try. Thank you.

I looked forward to dining here all week. Food was interesting and delicious. Service was not. They were not busy when we arrived but we waited 10 minutes past our reservation time and the text notification that our table was ready.
Our wine order was ... forgotten? By the time we asked about it we were through with our small plates, so we changed our order from a bottle to individual glasses.
Our waiter completely missed my wife's main dish. I waited to start mine (lamb chops) and when we asked if hers (the sea bass special) was coming soon we learned that it had not been ordered. So we shared mine and left unsatisfied.
They comped us a small dessert to share and removed the automatic 4% and 20% service charges. We still left a good tip because I didn't want to penalize the entire staff for one person's mistake.
I would consider coming again but make sure our order and expectations were clear, which I shouldn't have to do at a nicer restaurant. Finally, like so many restaurants, this place is loud.
Sea bass was beyond over cooked twice and other courses were underwhelming. Not worth the hype or the price.
I'm vegetarian, so only reviewing the vegetarian options. We had the carrots, potatoes, leeks, and mushrooms. Everything was underwhelming.
The carrots could have been cooked but they were just raw shavings. I couldn't taste any habanero or orange, as the menu had indicated. The leeks were okay but overly creamy. Way too much sauce. The potatoes were just too heavy, over-salted, and seasoned with something that tasted like barbecue sauce. Nothing special in the preparation. The mushrooms were tasty but tasted like something I could have done in an air fryer. I didn't see much creativity in any of the dishes, really.
It wasn't bad but it wasn't impressive either. The prices are in the fancy restaurant range but the food just didn't deliver on that expectation.

I seriously don't know know how this place is still operating. Horrible service. Food is inconsistent. The dude thinks that because he's from NYC, he's some hot chef. I've been working in the industry for 17 years and worked my way up from a dishwasher. This chef has no idea what he's doing. He tryna one up everything using nothing but exotic ingredients.

Had the Mediterranean Feast, 5 shared plate courses for $75/person. Dips were good, kampachi crudo was too salty, cacio e Pepe was good, fish with phyllo pastry was good, and the lemon “pavlova” was disappointing. For a shared dessert it was TINY, mostly lemon curd, and a traditional pavlova would have been more impressive.
Would return but wouldn’t do the feast again nor would I order dessert.
