This was my second time at Callie after a couple of years and I was hoping for a delicious and magical experience like the first time, but I unfortunately didn't enjoy myself as much as I thought I would. The service and overall dining experience was great, but something about the food was meh and I personally did not think the price for the Valentines Day lovers feast was worth it. The food was just ok, nothing bad, but nothing phenomenal. We had the bread dips, the octopus dish for starters, the egg yolk pasta, the dry age steak with potatoes , and the lemon dessert. The dry age steak was good and the octopus was done very well.

Food was delicious. Service by Ingrid, Jameson, and Brittney was fantastic! Disappointing was having a 5-course meal with wine pairing and only having 2 hours to breeze through it. NOT ENOIGH TIME, in our opinion. And at the end of our meal we were told by all severs to take our time. But front of house came over to ask us to vacate our table. Yes, we were told 2-hours, but hearing we were fine to stay and being asked to leave a few minutes later did not end our experience well!

The food, the service, the experience was so lovely we didn't take any pictures at all of the night. A sign of an incredible meal. Thank you to everyone at Callie for one of the best meals of our lives (hummus, octopus, chicken)!

My worst restaurant experience. The menu stated $145 per person for a 5-course set. In reality, it was 5 dishes for two people, and the final bill was not $290 but $350 because a 20% service charge was automatically included. I have never felt more deceived in a restaurant. All five dishes were simply edible — nothing more. The real value of this dinner for two, in my opinion, is no more than $100. The level of cuisine and service is very far from Michelin standards or even restaurants recommended by the Michelin Guide.

I've heard such great things about Callie, but I was really disappointed by their Valentine's Day menu. I honestly felt deceived! This restaurant needs to be more transparent with their customers. When my partner and l arrived, we thought the ambience was lovely, but once we were seated our waitress told us the menu was shared between the two of us, which was a complete surprise. It wasn't even about the price, it just wasn't made clear ahead of time. The two couples next to us had the exact same reaction when asking about the menu! Not to mention that they didn't even finish their dishes and sat there with disappointed looks on their faces. In the end, we decided to give it a try since my partner had enjoyed Callie before, but the food was nothing special and definitely not worth $400. And the worst part was the dessert. Why was there no lava in the lava cake? It was hard, dry, and honestly disappointing. I do not recommend this restaurant for Valentine's Day, and due to the lack of transparency, I won't be coming back. I expected much better. It's clear that this restaurant doesn't prioritize the customer experience or its community! Overall, a horrible experience.

Food was exceptional as you might expect from a Michelin recognized restaurant. Ambiance and service were excellent. Highly recommend, but you will need a reservation far In advance to make it happen as Callie is quite popular.

Callie is one of my favorite places to go. Every time the food and service are phenomenal!

Best dining experience we have had in years. We did the Mediterranean Feast which took us on a culinary journey with perfect service and excellent NA drink options.

Once again our dining experience at Callie was exceptional. From the service at the bar, being showed to our table, entire serving staff and the preparation of the delicious meal- satisfaction was delivered.

The atmosphere and decor is very upscale. The service is top-notch. The alcohol selections were awesome and delicious. The food selections could be more expansive. The chicken was delicious. The dessert offerings were a disappointment. It's quite pricey. I recommend perusing the menu beforehand.

You can taste the good quality ingredients, but honestly, the dishes are nothing surprising or super interesting. We ordered the feast, and the pacing of the courses were quite off. No problem as people were talking and drinking more wine. Overall, good for business dinner, not a real culinary experience. The staffs are professional and knowledgeable.

The food was delicious. We ordered the tasting menu so we were able to try a variety of dishes. The beet salad was delicious. The hummus was out of this world along with the house made bread.

We had the Mediterranean Feast with wine pairing for a party of seven. Food was excellent. Multiple dishes with each course - don't think this is a tasting menu, it's a real feast. Wonderful evening.

One of the best meals we've had in San Diego and the service was incredible. Looking forward to dining there again. It was a perfect birthday dinner.
