I the breakfast sandwich, which was good, and ok, but it's very disappointing when u have a tiny sausage on the sandwich. The service it's ok, but except for the girl, she's so welcoming. So please have a sausage that is the same size as the bun. It's not fair that I pay 9.50 for a small sandwich, with only half sausage.

Nitro cold brew was ultra sour, which likely means it’s under-extracted. 2 packets of sweetener couldn’t mask the sourness. There was nothing nitro about it either. Flat. No nitrogen bubbles. Must be old batch or maybe they don’t sell enough of it to get sour. $6 wasted. Not a real coffee shop so my bad going here rather than the other options at the mall.

Today I made a deposit….and the ATM machine accepted the cash but gave NO RECEIPT. The money never appeared in my account.

When I called Capital One, they opened a case and said it could take up to 45 days to investigate. I was also told that I “should’ve deposited in $200–$300 increments” — which contradicts the machine’s instructions and makes no sense. That ATM clearly states it can take up to 200 bills, and my deposit was nowhere near that.

This isn't the first time this ATM has had problems either. It's unreliable and still in use, which is unacceptable in such a high-traffic area. The deposit was a wedding gift and Capital One’s lack of urgency or accountability has caused me serious stress, both emotionally and financially.

Avoid using this ATM, and honestly, think twice about banking with Capital One. They’ve made a terrible situation even worse.

Avoid Banking Here: Faulty ATM, False Info, and Long Delays

We had a very upsetting experience at the Capital One branch at UTC Mall. Around 5pm, we deposited a cash using the ATM facing inside the branch. The machine took the money, then froze and displayed an error message before returning our card — but not our cash. We could hear it processing the bills, but then it suddenly said: “Bill payments, check deposits, cash deposits, and withdrawals are currently unavailable.”

We immediately reported this to on-site staff, who admitted this happens regularly and helped us file a claim. That alone is concerning. We then waited over 40 minutes on the phone with Capital One customer service, only to learn it would take 10 business days to receive a provisional credit (not the full deposited amount) and up to 45 days for a full investigation and potential reimbursement.

To make things worse, the staff told us we “should only deposit $200–300 at a time” — but the ATM itself says it accepts up to 200 bills. If Capital One knows their machines can’t handle what they advertise, why aren’t they updating the machine’s instructions or warning customers? It almost feels like they’re shifting the blame to the customer while holding on to people’s money, interest-free, for 45 days — under the guise of an “investigation.”

Earlier the same day, I also made a cash deposit at a Bank of America ATM. When their machine couldn’t process the bills, it simply spit the cash back out, allowing me to reinsert it. That’s what a functional and customer-focused system should do. Instead of programming their ATMs to do the same, Capital One has designed theirs to EAT your cash and make YOU responsible for filing a claim.

This was money meant for our wedding, and now it’s out of our hands — with no real timeline for resolution. If you value your cash or peace of mind, DO NOT BANK WITH CAPITAL ONE. Can you really trust a bank that doesn’t fix its own machines and holds your money hostage for over a month?

Barista stuck the plastic lid tab between the lid and the cup causing the a large amount of matcha latte to spill on me immediately after trying to take a drink.

Came here on my lunch break and now have to endure the rest of the day covered in suspiciously green stains. Thanks C1 Cafe.

My recent visit to Capital One Cafe was stellar. The baristas and tellers were very helpful. I called ahead and spoke with a gentleman who was very helpful with my banking. I'll definitely be going back soon.

You need to limit the amount of students taking all the seats and tables for hours and having nowhere for your customers to sit. It is ridiculous.

Always drop by and get a seasonal drink when I’m at UTC, the 50% disc is great and the classique coffee drinks as well. Wish I had one closer to home.
