CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Replaced by Bahar Indian restaurant
It‘s out of business as of July 2024. The place will become an Indian restaurant soon. RIP Capri Blues
It’s helpful if you mark on Google or your website that you are closed. Or if you put the sign out front…
Can't think of any other restaurant in San Diego with this splendid service... Been there for years and always same smiles > Alvaro is the best! Always home run!

We had great service from our waitress to our bus boy. The food was delicious and huge portion, too. We like the ambience. However, the music is a bit loud. Overall, I like this place and we will recommend it to our friends. We will definitely come back!
We had a lovely meal starting with the mini artichoke hearts for our appetizer which was delicious followed by lasagne and a veal piccata - both delicious - will definitely go back ...
When placing our order, we specifically asked the Iserver which was also the bartender, To please space out the time between The courses. We ordered appetizers salad and main course. That did not happen. They brought out the appetizers and salads at the same time. And the second we were done with that. They brought out the main course. We felt we were rushed. Also our server never came back to the table to ask how everything was. My wife ordered the veil Saltimbaca Which was extremely salty and she could not eat it and had to return it. The server ended up comping us on the deserts. For this reason, we only left a 10% tip which we felt guilty about, but also felt very justified.
We celebrated a friend's birthday, excellent food, wonderful service. ? highly recommended

Came here many times I get into it with The/Manager/Bartender). I believe her name is Rosa last time. She actually had the nerve to complain that I left a 23% tip this time I ordered an entrée and I heard that you can get it on the side instead of the typical sides I did it before so this time I try to order it again through the last time was a different person and she gave me such a hard time and argued with me. I told her I did it the last time terrible Customer Service . If she is the manager this Resturant is in Serious trouble. Food is not worth the aggravation to go here.

Been here before a little later in the evening and they have been better. However we went here to celebrate my mother's birthday and it was bad to start but a little better before we left. I'll start with as I entered to meet my family, they had already been seated and my wife was attempting to ask the hostess something she was completely ignored by the young hostess who was on the phone with someone for more than 5 minutes but never looked up and acknowledged us or any one else walking into the restaurant. So we went to the bartender who was able to help us before we got seated. Then our waitress who was a little older seemed to have issue with us wanting to finish our appetizers before ordering our meal. When we did order our meal my grandmother who has trouble reading the small words on the menu ask for a certain dish that she didn't know how to pronounce properly the waitress rolled her eyes at my grandmother and she showed her discontent about having to put her glasses on to see what my grandmother was talking about. Then when my mother ordered her dish she specifically asked for the mashed potatoe dish and was given a noodle dish(an honest mistake but things have started to pile up at this point) at this point we are in such a bad mood that it was difficult to enjoy our dinner which normally is delicious. Honestly it felt like we weren't welcome there and that was the most frustrating thing. I know we have enjoyed them before but after the disappointment on my mother's birthday I don't see myself ever returning to this establishment.

Let's see where do I begin. I've gone to this place many times last time I went I ordered a entrée dinner and I substitute the side orders with a pasta dish. I could choose any pasta dish. I was told except one which was a shrimp dish well second time I come here I get into it with the managers/Bartender) Rosa I believe her name is and she's arguing with me that I can't order, any Side substitute which I paid a little extra for. When I pointed this out to her, she lied and she said oh it's only that dish but I told her that I ordered as a substitute on a regular entrée substitute side dish before in the past . She argued with me about this just absolutely terrible cafeteria food was serviced to me . The mashed potatoes tasted like they made instant mashed potatoes. The vegetables were like frozen vegetables annoyed me. The worst was her attitude towards me arguing with me , which she done before with me . I had dying there in the past and left a 25% tip that she actually had the never to complained about in front of me ! They need to restructure and get a real manager in there that knows the Restaurant industry because she's the absolute worse!
Saw my cousin play guitar and entertain. A great time had by all. Thanks Shay Skylar.

The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and very accommodating without lurking. The brandy pink sauce is one of the best I've had on pasta. There were four of us and we each had a different dish - rave reviews from all.
Service sucks! Got seated on time but they took 25 minutes to take our order. When we ordered dessert, my husband his tiramasu and my coffee arrived 5 minutes AFTER he finished! Servers are nice but totally DISORGANIZED. Piano playing was lovely
Our meals were a bit... underwhelming. My wife had chicken parmesan and I had veal parmesan. We started with calamari - it was pretty much the texture of leather. They apologized and said it was undercooked - it looked like it had freezer burn. Too bad, we used to frequent this place quite often. The wine was good!
