I just ordered a gizzard combo and a chicken nugget combo. I paid extra to get fried zucchini instead of fries. They gave me no ranch dressing everybody knows you eat fried zucchini with ranch dressing. Then I start eating my gizzards and they taste like they have been fried in burnt Grease! This is my second time eating here and again I am completely disappointed I will never eat here again I will never order from here again. Why would you fry something in burnt Grease absolutely disgusting!

I wanted to give a food review on my very first order from this restaurant because I’ve heard so much about it. But I’m contemplating on if I even want to eat the food because of the way it showed up by the delivery driver. And it would happen on a day that I ordered delivery service, something I normally don’t do. Why would your restaurant not seal the bag and have it looking like this for delivery? One of the boxes of food open and everything. You could’ve at least put a knot in the bag, I can tell there wasn’t even an attempt to tie the bag closed SMH.

Great food and great service. They just need a waiting area. Also these workers should be paid more. I would've given 5 stars but again these workers deserve a raise and no business deserves a 5 star rating that doesn't pay their workers enough.

I love this place even though my catfish nuggets had bones in them today. I'll still come back cause I love this place. Just disappointed cause I almost chocked

I must say the fried food is delicious.
The desserts was sliced to thin for the price. But the worst of it all is the Crab salad. There was hardly any crab meat but so much onions, celery and bell peppers. I felt like I was eating all veggies with no taste. It was a waste of my money.

Will definitely order here again the fish was big and flaky, the shrimp were bigger than my thumb, the hush puppies were on point!

I saw someone recommend this place in a facebook group so I figured I’d give it a try. But like most of the food in SD, this was LACKING.
I ordered fried whiting and fried scallops. They both came with fries. The price? $30 and it was absolutely NOT worth $30. 2 pieces of fish and fries… maybe 7 scallops I think. Not that I eat a lot but anyway, the food itself was not good. Well except the fries. They were the best part of the meal. Seasoned and fried right. I’m not even a fry person honestly. But the whiting just didn’t taste good and the texture was almost like rubber but not really idk. It was off. The scallops were fried horribly. The breading was literally falling off the scallop itself because it was so soft. Scallops weren’t good either. Obviously I won’t be eating here again. Sorry.

The home location needs to update their store hours online, website states they close at 8, I arrived at 7:35 and the associate expressed they closed at 7:30. I called before heading out and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. I tried to order online as well and it wasn’t working. Love the food, but disappointed that I drove this distance to be turned around.
