Lovely coffee shop, with beautiful outdoors. Breakfast and lunch menus are great, vegetarian friendly. Good coffee -vanilla latte is my fave and their hibiscus tea w honey. I love gheir empanada caprese and ciabatta caprese sandwich. Plenty of parking, dog-friendly and friendly baristas.

I genuinely liked my experience here. You get three hours of parking (1 hr complimentary, two more when you validate). It’s a bit on the pricey side for coffee, but it’s quiet, clean, spacious, and well designed for studying or handling several tasks. The WiFi is strong and the service is good. I’ll be back. My Nutella and banana toast was great, and the almond bites made it even better.

Beautiful views. Perfect spot to get home work done or just enjoy the weather. 1st hour of parking is free and staff is super kind and accommodating. They were able to accommodate my dairy allergy even thought the majority of their foods are premade and prewrapped. Coffee was delicious!

I work as a contractor and am constantly running into little cafes for my morning ritual. I had the mint standard and it blew me away. It was extremely good for such a small lil hole in the wall. Can’t wait to try all the other

I use to like going into cargo cafe since it’s convenient and located at my office. However, the last several times when you go in the employees will just stand and continue their conversations. I don’t need royal treatment but acknowledge and take an order. Not difficult.

This is a cafe located in a business park per se - 2 high rises. There aren't other food options that you could walk to for food while on break or lunch from your office. I add this info because it seems that if there were other options people may not use Cargo Cafe. I typically only get beverages here and have purchased beverages a few times at this location. On this visit I opted for a breakfast bowl. The menu item is Scramble Protein Bowl: Eggs, Sausage, Potatoes, cheese. I added pickled onions. The menu board in store didn't specify that the sausage is chorizo sausage or I wouldn't have selected this item. The item took a long time to prepare and seemed to be prepackaged and microwaved. The label was how is discovered the sausage is chorizo. The components were all stuck together and not due to the melted cheese. You know when you microwave things too long and then they stick together-thats what it was. I gave the food a 3 star because it was eggs, sausage potatoes and cheese, but it wasn't flavorful and didn't seem to have been prepared on site, it seemed to be reheated and it took way too long for a reheated dish. Service gets 4 stars because the staff taking orders were pleasant and courteous. The atmosphere is very nice. If your order would come out faster it would be a nice place to eat/drink. It is a convenient location and that may be what drives their business.

Hidden gem inside bougie office building, first hour of parking is free. Coffee was delicious and the view, beautiful and relaxing. Small landscaped lake with fountain and seating in the center courtyard. This is a small boutique coffee chain with other locations in La Jolla and Sorrento Valley.
