Ordered the Jerk Chicken and Ox Tail combo The food was amazing. Portions are huge. Lady at the counter was friendly and fast. The only reason it wasn't a full 5 stars is that the lady at the counter had to keep going to the back to help or tell the person in the back what to do so the wait was a little long. Other than that it was the best perk chicken and ox tail that I've had in SD. The plantains were excellent as well.

I ordered oxtail and jerk chicken. Anyone who eat oxtail knows they have a round bone in the middle. This IS NOT OXTAIL! THAT'S CHEEP BEEF BONE COOKED LIKE OXTAIL. You can see the bone and tell this is not oxtail I just paid for

This place is so good, it makes me want to go to Jamaica. Its hands down the best Jamaican food in San Diego and I’ve tried ALL of them. Nothing compares or comes close. The staff doesnt care about excellent customer service or politeness so if you come here for that, go somewhere else. But I love that them, straight to the point attitude and they dont care about your “special requests” 🤣 If you dont like spicy food or you have food sensitivities, go eat at Applebees bro lol I would give this place 10 stars!

Anyone who has anything negative to say about this place is out of their minds! Came here for some lunch and got the oxtail jerk chicken combo. Holy SMOKES! It was so delicious. The portion was huge. Everything was flavorful. As someone who has visited the Caribbean, I can say this is the real deal. Oxtails were meaty, jerk chicken had a nice kick and the plantains were amazing. I can’t wait to come back.

Idk even know what to say. I wish I would have read the reviews before going. I stopped in because I was in the area. Ordered the brown stew chicken 2/10. It was edible but was it Jamaican? The rice was so mushy, the plantains were good. The veggies looked pre-chewed. The chicken was under seasoned and the gravy was so watery.
