I don't know how my daughters fiancé found you but am I glad he did , We live in Mira Mesa & its been our 3rd time here in 6 months once on a Sunday Brunch another time for Fri dinner & the 23rd of December , I've had Carnitas each time all I can say is sabrosos , plentiful, also with the rice & beans , we ordered chicarrōnes as appetizers, for the 23rd I purchased 3 lbs for the Xmas Eve Dinner they were a Hit. My wife enjoys the Enchilada plate. We'll be back.All the Pricing was exceptional. I need to try the Menudo next time for breakfast. Margaritas were tasty & priced rightService was excellent , Grace was very polite & attentive , are glasses were kept topped off . They all were greatParking: Parking area is tight, it is a common shared lotKid-friendliness: Our 2 yr old & 11 year old were very comfortable & made to feel at ease

I learned about this place on "Nextdoor," so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a combo that was not on the menu: Beef Enchilada with Chili Relleno. My daughter ordered the Carnitas Burrito Plate. Initially, the enchilada sauce was a little tangy for me, but after a couple of bites, I started enjoying it. The Chili Relleno sauce was great! The burrito was filled with moist meat, had just enough "burnt" flavor, and was very filling. I found the food we ordered wonderfully tasty and will definitely go back. They have a nice full menu with average prices for Mexican restaurants. Give it a try; you'll like it! Brenda, one of the co-owners, was there, and she is wonderful!

This is an absolutely amazing local Mexican restaurant! Family owned, the owner is awesome! She's giving me her soup a time or two. Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. Just got home from a family dinner, such a great feel here, feels like home. The food is sooo good, for the price you get a lot of food, the carnitas for two feeds my wife and I and our kid. Staff is great and accommodating. Highly recommend. Probably the best carnitas I've had in daygo

Love this place! Highly recommend the carnitas plate for one as it will be enough for two meals. The meat was moist and flavorful and came with a generous portion of toppings and tortillas. Festive atmosphere and good service with reasonable prices. My go-to spot if craving carnitas.
