Their prices & drink quality make for a good value here. The place hasn't been updated and it was quite noisy because of large tables in each dining area.

This is my favorite place! The food is always tasty and the variety is great! Brought 2 new people and they very much enjoyed it. A real treat!

Food served was barely warm at best. Husband's au gratin potatoes tasted old. He had upset stomach the following day. Garlic bread tasted like plain bread, no garlic flavor. Disappointed.

Usually fairly good food but dinner this Sunday was very poor. Salmon had little taste when eating but a definite after taste. Asparagus was uncooked, tough and uneatable. Baked potato was very small and toppings were finally brought half way through the meal. Nicely related to the waitress who wasn't really interested and said the only thing she could do was take the $6 asparagus off the bill. Very disappointing meal.

The food was great. Service was something I've never experienced in a restaurant. She was beyond terrible. It was like walking the line at chipotle in terms of the feeling of being rushed. I think we got unlucky with that, but otherwise great spot great food

Had a wonderful early bird dinner with a friend and it was a very comfortable setting with perfect opportunity to chat. The food was excellent. Filet mignon was perfect, spinach salad so delightful as it had many little treats of almonds and cranberries in there. I went with the potatoes au gratin, which were awesome! I will be back!

Really enjoyed the food. Party of five enjoyed each dinner. Double-pork chop, rib eye steaks, chicken cordon blue, fillet mignon. Service was perfect. Ambiance was so relaxing. We sat near the fireplace which was on. We had a reservation, and I think you may have gotten a table at 4:30pm without one, but anytime much after that you might have had to wait. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Carvers is the place for your old school steakhouse experience. Their best items are the Prime Rib and the baked potato. Prices are reasonable. The service is friendly by the staff. This is our go to place for special occassions. The have an early bird special from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm. They also have a Tuesday night special.

We were disappointed that the fryer was not working so we couldn't get calamari or fries. The baked potato was cold. They brought a new one when asked. Since my grandson could not get fries with his steak we asked if there was a substitute. Mac and cheese was suggested. However we were charged $5 for it.

Fantastic as always. The maple pork chop is one of the best dishes I've had anywhere. The halibut with shrimp was outstanding, as was the Nee York steak. Service is always great. Carver's is the best value for a steakhouse in SD County.

We recently celebrated our Dad's birthday at Carvers and it was a truly wonderful experience. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We will be back.

Our food was great as usual. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive and helpful.

Carver's food is always excellent! It was Father's Day yesterday, so it was very busy, but the servers were still smiling and doing their best to keep up!

We always love Carver's for Father's Day and for my husband's birthday. He loves a good steak and Carver's does not disappoint. It is an older establishment and I feel the building could use an update. I realize that steakhouses have a reputation of being dark lit, leather seats, fireplace and mid-century vibes, but it doesn't keep up with the modern times. The steaks are juicy, large, and choices are wide. Great place for special occasions. Reservations are well organized. Service is good and staff are friendly and helpful. When it's busy, the service lags but it's to be expected. We will go back and we will continue to do so.
