Our food was great as usual. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive and helpful.
Carver's food is always excellent! It was Father's Day yesterday, so it was very busy, but the servers were still smiling and doing their best to keep up!
We always love Carver's for Father's Day and for my husband's birthday. He loves a good steak and Carver's does not disappoint. It is an older establishment and I feel the building could use an update. I realize that steakhouses have a reputation of being dark lit, leather seats, fireplace and mid-century vibes, but it doesn't keep up with the modern times. The steaks are juicy, large, and choices are wide. Great place for special occasions. Reservations are well organized. Service is good and staff are friendly and helpful. When it's busy, the service lags but it's to be expected. We will go back and we will continue to do so.
We were seated at our reservation time, hostess very pleasant. Server very patient and professional, our courses were timed perfectly, food was great. Although cheeseburger and pork chops needed a little more seasoning, but they looked great. We didn't feel rushed, so we Thank You because our party hasn't been together in a long time
The dining room was nice. Making a reservation was easy. They were accomodating when I needed to adjust the number of people in my party. My complaints are if I have to pay a 20% gratuity due to party size then I expect water to be refilled and the waitress attentive. She only came by once to ask if everything was ok. We had to wait a long time until we saw our waitress come around and we had to ask for more water in our empty water cups while eating. Our food took a long time arriving. I ordered the fish of the day plate which just had halibut and au gratin potatoes for $48 which did not look worthy of $48. The potatoes was terrible and the clam chowder soup tasted like it came out of a can. It was bad. I would not order that again. For desert I ordered the cheesecake and I was not impressed. It tasted and looked like it was store bough frozen and defrosted. Not worth ordering. I was also shocked that my young looking newly 21 year old daughter was not carded when she ordered a glass of wine to try.
A regular date night stop for us. Wonderful service; great people. Food is always very well prepared.
Ordered prime rib medium-rare and it came out rare-raw. Also so much fat and gristle that 10 oz was more like 6-8 oz. French onion soup was very good. Staff were pleasant and easy to deal with.
We had an amazing experience at Carvers Steak and Chops for my son's graduation dinner! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The ambience was warm, welcoming, and just right for a special celebration. Everything from the service to the setting made the evening perfect. Highly recommend!
Tuesday is a great night to visit Carvers! Several dinner specials to enjoy and 16$ bottles of wine! We love the old school atmosphere and love that a dinner includes sides, they aren't an extra charge!
The food was perfect and very delicious. Their Tuesday specials are very reasonably priced and they are always attentive. Everything was great.

Great food at a great value. The wine selection was also very good. The service is exceptional.
As soon as you walk in the restaurant, it smells like an “old building “ moldy smell? The restaurant can use some aesthetic refresh project to improve the ambiance. The glass used for my hot water is dirty, visible dirt, handle was sticky. It's very obvious that it hasn't been washed. Our server is nice, he was apologetic about the dirty glass.
The prime rib is good, but we won't be back during to the increase in pricing. Service was good, but it took a very long time to get the food. The vegetables with the Tuesday prime rib special should not be served. Such a waste.
The steaks and the lamb chops were ordered medium rare and they ca mi yea medium well. They were sent back and came as ordered.
Cold food, flavorless. We came back to eat here with some friends. Thought we would give it 1 more chance. Nope we still don't like it! I don't recommend this place if you are looking for a good steak. The mashed potatoes have a weird aftertaste!!
