Amazing food, vibrant decor, and friendly staff. Everything tastes good and authentic, and the atmosphere is full of energy. It can get quite crowded on weekends or in the evenings, so be prepared to wait a bit.
Always a must when visiting San Diego. Large portions, mild spice. I tend to like a little heat in my Mexican food but I understand they need to cater to the tourist trade (gringos 😅). Great atmosphere.
I decided to have lunch here because of the good reviews that I read. I'm sorry; this review will not be among them. I ordered breakfast. Eggs and chorizo. Kind of hard to get wrong, but this restaurant managed to burn the chorizo, scramble it into eggs and serve it to me. It was crunchy 😞.
My server, Samuel, had a monotone voice paired with unenthusiasm that had me hesitant to ask for another plate. I don't know how that plate even left the kitchen 😳....
