Came at 8pm, got my food (crazy small portion btw, bowl half filled) pay & then go to get a fork or spoon & there are none. I went up to the front & told them they were out & could I get something to eat with & was told sorry we’re out. I was like, it’s 8pm? No silverware or to go utensils for anyone to eat with till you close at 10pm? (Long line of people behind us) And he said sorry, none. No solution, no ‘oh sorry we’ve got someone running to the store to pick up some’, no, ‘oh we’re washing some in the back’ nothing. Honestly pretty unbelievable & we thankfully had the bright idea to go to another place & get their to go utensils. Genuinely terrible service, what am I paying for when I can’t even eat my $20 food!

First time CAVA customer. Why all caps? Ya YELLING at me? But hey food was good. At the One Paseo location the line moved quickly giving me just a little time to ask the person behind me how this place works. So many healthy choices‼️ I’d definitely come to CAVA when again in SoCal. So why no NorCal locations?I’d a given 5⭐️ if the facilities were cleaner. Oh, and definitely consider replacing the stained underside toilet seat in the men’s restroom. Stat.

I visited this location yesterday at around 530 pm. The worker there was stingy and rude. At the La Jolla location they will give you 1 and a half scoops of rice but this guy (young male) gave me 1 scoop and when I asked for a little more he said "I'm going to charge you for extra" like are you serious? He wasn't friendly at all. Like if you really hated your job than don't work there but don't take your frustration out on the customers! No ones forcing you to work there- you made this decision yourself. I understand you have to make money somehow but taking your frustration out on a customer isn't benefiting anyone and is actually hurting the business. It shows that employees lack consistency most likely because of poor training from upper management and their own personal frustrations. Down the line another employee came up to him and told him while he was with another customer"hey you can actually give the customer more" His demeanor and behavior was so poor and he is so dumb that he doesn't even know the company's policy and is just making up his own rules. I'm sure he just didn't start his shift at 5 pm that day and he's just being told this? What a terrible person. But did he fix the issue with me or with anyone else? Nope. Not even an apology. Won't be coming back.

I love CAVA, and for 2021-2022 I had no bad experiences here. But I have had problems with every meal this year and this past year. Missing items, major cross-contamination, today I just recieved a bowl after an hour of waiting after the scheduled pick-up time that didn't have *any* of the toppings listed on the tag literally stickered to the container from mobile order, 2 meatballs total, and barely any spinach. It's unfortunate, I do like their food but the service has been so awful I just cannot in good faith recommend this place anymore.

I am a HUGE Cava fan, I am always looking for one where I travel - the energy in this specific one is like no other and I say this not positively. There was not a long line, however my bowls were being rushed down the line with extremely small portions. The first employee on the line seemed like a new hire and, as he should, was asking his manager questions. The manager’s attitude & responses were hostile and created a horrible experience for the employee and us, the customers. The quality of the food means nothing to me if the atmosphere isn’t welcoming and fun. Will definitely not be returning to this location and I hope the new employee finds another job where he’s appreciated!

Usually cava is good, but lately, the one paseo location has really bad customer service. I feel like I ate salt instead of food… everything here is super salty and the customer service is terrible. if you order around 9 they just care about leaving and not the customer service. If you are open until 10 be sure to have good customer service until then.

My experience with Cava has gotten progressively bad. My most recent experience was the absolute worst. It started with an online order with a promised time of 15 minutes, we ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes beyond the promised time. In addition, the size of our bowls was 30% smaller than usual. The lentils were undercooked (we couldn’t tell if we were chewing on a pita crisp or lentils). I had also requested certain sauces to be added to my bowl and they were all missing. I had to go back in and request the sauces. When I made this request, I was shown attitude and was asked to show my receipt. This experience has been the worst, but over time we have started to grow tired of the long wait times, slow service and inconsistent product that we had before with Cava. We used to come here about once a week, but we’re sad to say our Cava visits may come to an end. It frustrates me paying $12, a steep price, for a less than mediocre product and experience.
