My food came cold even though I waited for 20 minutes so I don’t know how that happened. Depressed employees and filthy dining room ruined the trip along with the food. Not worth it

To the staff: we see how hard you guys work, food is always fresh and delicious. Portion seems to be inconsistent and usually small.
To the leadership/management: PLEASE, for the love of your clients, invest in different tables!! The tables are absolutely disgusting, sticky and uncleanable. Soda machine had grime around the Mexican coke nozzle and looked abandoned.
This location in consistently busy, the staff is always hustling and doing their best but there doesn’t appear to be a manager on duty at any of our visits.
Update: during a revisit, found the tea nozzles completely abandoned.

Don’t bother ordering online. It’s better to go in and order. I ordered before the store opened and it said it would be ready at 10:45. Came in at 10:30, they said they were still working on it, waited 20 minutes, and the food still wasn’t ready. Other people came in to order, got their food faster than we did. Then finally after I asked again and seeing the food just sitting on the counter, I got my order.
It was both my friend’s my first visit. The food was delicious. The manager checked on us several times and brought us free crispy pitas.

The food is good, good for you, and super affordable. The staff here are always hustling — you can tell the reason bowls are cheap is because of the sheer volume of them the staff are able to churn out. They are clearly the only thing keeping this enterprise profitable. Which is why I was so surprised to find that tipping isn’t allowed — this is something that management should change. On my most recent visit Liz and Eesel (guarantee I misspelled that — sorry) were both kind and hardworking :)

This was honestly disgusting!! I had placed an order for a scheduled pickup later in the day and assumed it would be made fresh around that time.
I happened to be in the area and popped in early because I actually wanted to ask if my order could be pushed to a later pickup so I could grab it after seeing a movie. Obviously that wasn’t possible because it had already been made over 70 minutes before the scheduled pickup!!! (and left sitting out on the shelf.)
My order had steak, chicken, roasted veggies, yogurt, cheese, sauces, and tomatoes…all items that should be kept fresh. When I looked inside, there were fruit flies inside the bag on the pita side and more swarming around it :) Completely disgusting.
If I hadn’t popped in, I would have picked it up as scheduled and eaten food that had been sitting out for close to an hour and a half, which could easily have made me sick.
When I brought it up, the manager acted like it was no big deal. She even said “so we made it a few minutes early” when in reality it was well over an hour early? That is disgusting.
And when I pointed out the flies, she didn’t even respond. She brushed me off with attitude, made excuses, and even walked away mid conversation rolling her eyes. When I asked for a refund, she flat out refused and was incredibly rude the entire time. I was told the only resolution was to remake it, and at this point I do not feel comfortable eating from a location that handles food this way.
I go to Cava ALL the time and usually love it, but this experience was seriously appalling. Food safety clearly isn’t being taken seriously here, and the way the manager treated me made it even more awful.

Ordered take out, got home to find the dreaded: dressing missing. Surprised to see how much smaller the bowl is compared to other similar places.

I stopped by Cava for a late lunch and left genuinely impressed. The line moved quickly even during the dinner rush, and the ingredients looked incredibly fresh—crisp greens, warm pita, perfectly seasoned chicken and falafel. I built a grain bowl with saffron rice, chicken, and the every bite had bright Mediterranean flavors.
What really stood out, though, was the service. Liz, greeted us with a big smile, patiently walked us through the menu. She checked in just the right amount—helpful but never hovering—and made sure we had extra pita without even asking.
The restaurant itself was spotless, tables cleared quickly, and the overall vibe was friendly and upbeat. For a fast-casual spot, that level of personal attention is rare and much appreciated.
