Highly recommended!!! First time here and will definitely be back. Everything was exceptional; service, food, drinks, atmosphere. Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive to us. Go check it out!

Date night with my wife. White bean hummus was tasty, but texture was sticky. The accompanying pita was really excellent - freshly made and elastic with sesame and other spices. Harissa Prawns were the standout dish, 5 large prawns perfectly cooked with spices & just a touch of heat. Agnolotti filled with polenta & meat were disappointing - the sauce and filling were nice, but the pasta wrappers were barely cooked if at all. Two glasses of red wine (cab and GSM) were both excellent. Dubai Chocolate dessert, touted as "light" by server, was delicious, but probably a 6-800 calorie serving. The one big problem is that there is no real "indoors" at this place, as an entire long wall is open to the late fall evening weather. We tried sitting indoors, but we both were cold. We moved outdoors under a heater, where one of us was warm and one was cold.

this is a new place, and one I hope remains open for a long time. High-quality ingredients, creative menu options, great ambience/space, and nice service combine to make a great restaurant. I'll be back...with a big appetite. :)

What a nice experience we had. I have never been to this place but I will sure go again. The service was amazing, the food exceptional plus very creative and tasty and the place was very unique and nice. It was a little bit pricey, but not too bad. Two super plus- food is all local from farmers in SD and it has parking!!!

The food was lovely; really appreciate their approach to using locally sourced ingredients only for all of their dishes. Our server was warm and wonderful too.

Wonderful dinner and service. Nice to have an upscale, farm to table establishment in Hillcrest!!

Food is local, seasonal, and manager Warren runs a smooth operation. Steven & Justin at the bar have been consistently friendly and accommodating during all of our six visits. They have unique wines and do reasonably priced tastings that never disappoint. The dishes are well portioned and have twists on popular dishes - fresh and delicious. We love the hummus, baba ganoush, and labne as starters, and the pita bread that comes with them is fresh out of the oven, fluffy and delicious. Not sure how they marinate their chicken, but it is the best I have had in years. They often carry oysters from Puget Sound and serve them with passion fruit vinaigrette, which adds flavor and complexity. As long as the food quality and management remain, we plan to visit weekly.

Loved the experience overall. The atmosphere and the service get 5 stars. The food would have been 5 stars, but some of the food like the fries were a little too salty. The food is innovative so will try again. Overall great experience and would recommend because of innovative menu, atmosphere, and service.

Normally I like to go out for Asian food but this place is really good. The portion isn’t big but the ambiance and everything else combined is enjoyable.

Amazing food and wine, and quaint modern rustic atmosphere. Every dish was a flavor bomb! Crispy eggplant had a perfect deep fry crisp, the labneh is smooth, creamy tangy yogurt with sweet carmelized onions and crispy shallots and the homemade pita was wow! Ribeye came out slices and perfectly cooked, duck confit delish, but the star of the night was a brisket and polenta pasta. Wasn’t what we expected, and we’re amazing little pillows of perfection! California wines were perfect compliments. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

It was ok. Really wanted to like this place. A couple of the main dishes were really salty. Hard to hear our party at first over the music. That changed mid way through. Best thing on the menu was the pita and whipped tahini. Had two birthdays wasn't offered dessert (would've paid for them, not looking for a freebie).

Great food and love the local sourcing and attention to using good ingredients. Keeping it simple and local. Engaging and on-point servers and staff.

Great food, vibe and service. 10s all around (order the dumplings and don't skip desert). Dined the same night as a very loud, profane, rude guest at the bar that was mistreating the bartenders. The staff handled the situation with the MOST grace and patience - highly commend them and would absolutely return whenever I am in town.
