Delicious meal and they made it a special night for my youngest daughter's birthday. Cant wait to go back!

Cesarina was an amazing experience. The staff was wonderful, many servers wished my boyfriend a happy birthday. The food was delish. I loved the ravioli. We had the tiramisu for desert which was fabulous. The restaurant was beautiful and the vibe was great. Our server Thomas made it a fantastic experience. They even took a photo of us on a Polaroid and printed it for his birthday. Definitely recommend dining here, especially for a special occasion.

As a fellow Chef in the Industry I was very impressed with everything. It was our first time dining here. Overall the whole experience here was great. The food was great. Service was great. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable evening.

We had a lovely night celebrating my birthday at Cesarina. Our server, Carlos, was exceptional—very attentive and professional. The food was all delicious; the polpo and tiramisu were our favorites. Hands down, one of the best birthday celebrations I've ever had at a restaurant.

Exceptional food and awesome staff! Hands down best Italian that I had in San Diego so far. Highly recommend!!

Amazing flavors, pasta made in-house, great service, cost is above average, but so worth it! Totally recommend. Make a reservation ahead - you'll be sure to get in that way.

The food is amazing. We have eaten there twice, both times everything was wonderful. It is an incredible place to eat. Your tastebuds will love you. I suggest making a reservation, they can be busy even for lunch.

Our first visit, and the service was fabulous. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in making decisions and picking out a wine. We felt like part of the family! Absolutely loved the funghi pasta. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

This reservation was for my birthday dinner. (we were a group of 6) I am a huge fan of this restaurant and have spent past birthdays and have visited this restaurant several times, but upon getting to the restaurant, no one acknowledged it. In the past, and from what I saw tonight at the restaurant, you are offered a dessert for your birthday along with a really cute polaroid- I even have one still from a past birthday. I love the food here. But not even the food could have made up for such a bad experience. This is a small crowded restaurant, which I know and understand, but our table was slanted, our chairs were pressed against the rail on one side and against another chair from another table on the other side. I don't think I saw any other table struggling as much as we did to get good service tonight. I noticed only one or two individuals helping out the servers, it's possible they were understaffed and maybe needed some extra help tonight or were struggling for whatever reason, which I understand. But I didn't see any other table struggle like we did. My grandmother asked for hot water for tea about 4 times to the same waiter and support staff before someone completely different brought it over. It took upwards of 30 minutes to get our drink and food order in. We weren't offered the specials, I had to ask. Usually upon being sat you are greeted by your server and offered the specials menu. When we were brought our food, my mothers plate was broken and a quarter sized piece of ceramic or whatever the plate is made from, was in her food, just sitting on the food like a garnish. Our waiter David apologized profusely and offered to have it remade asap. He offered to have the owner of the restaurant come to the table to apologize but the owner came over and said "the plates the bring them all together same time and well you know ah" and just walked away. He didn't care to look us in the eye and just brushed us off. Running out of space to write. super disappointed

Made reservations for a 1 day trip into town with a long time friend. The personal touches are always appreciated. Notes that show I am returning and welcomed like an old friend. Perfect. David was our server. Recommendations were as always, on point. His knowledge of the menu was not scripted, just smooth. Food was - as always - amazing. It's why I come back. Hardest part is always choosing, it's never the wrong choice, just a matter of "old fav", or new "fav".

We had a lovely family meal with our 6 and 7 year old! They loved the kids menu and we all loved the homemade pasta. Our drinks were delicious and the atmosphere so cozy! I got the special (the butternut squash ravioli) with the mushroom sauce and it was our favorite!

By far my favorite restaurant in San Diego, I come about once a month. Service is excellent and staff are extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I’ve had every vegan item they offer (including specials) and not one of them is a miss. Beautifully decorated and ambience is warm and inviting—patio is my favorite. Reserve a table a week ahead of time or you’ll have a long wait.
